This book is a apart of the World Stories series by Oxford Bookworms. it is only 40 pages with 6987 words. It is a book with three short stories about families in Africa. This is a good little book for anyone learning to read or just improving their reading skill.s

A boy named Chotoo who doesn't have parents live with her grandmother, but he lost her at last... I was very sad. I was wondered he can be happy...

5. One of the three stories in this book "leaving" was very interesting because I experienced the same thing. One day, I had a quarrel with my mother about studying abroad. She cared about money which she had to pay. I did not know why she cared about it a lot. After that, I knew that she save her money for me. I was very impressed with her.

It is because the more I read this book, the more I couldn't understand what the story is. I couldn't enjoy this book, so I stopped reading it.

Africa, whites, blacks, rubbish, aeroplane, wheelbarrow, dump,

" The white man is wise. He made the aeroplane. It's nothing else. But determination."

We are lucky to live finantually. Through reading this story, I found that we always have to realize that. Like this story, some Africans are very hard to get their foods. So we must not waste any foods.

My little sister's reading material for her English class in secondary school. This book is a good choice made by the Ministry of Education (MOE).

I think MOE choose this book to tell the students "Be grateful living in Malaysia and stop complaining. Because there are unprivileged people out there in Africa who could not afford proper food, education and shelter."
