It's "Sons of Anarchy" with an Onlyfans twist in this explosive friends-to-lovers Motorcycle Club romance from Jena Doyle. His life is dangerous. Hers is falling apart. Can they find love in the chaos?

Alba

I need a business partner, someone willing to meet me blow for blow. The work won’t be that hard. I’m attractive and professional. I know a boundary, and I won’t cross it.

The only catch… I’m a cam girl, spending most of my time naked in front of a webcam. I need someone willing to rail me hard without catching feelings. This should be easy to find, but after a few hours at a friend’s party, I come up woefully short. Until a sexy tattooed biker sits down next to me.

I tell him the truth, and everything descends into chaos after that.

Jericho

I recognize her from somewhere, but I never woulda guessed where until she tells me what she needs. Everything in me wants to wrap my hand around her throat and see how well my tattooed fist picks up on camera as a necklace.

I have my reasons for not agreeing right away. Let’s be real, the internet is forever. But I can film her without being seen myself, and that should lighten her load. Plus, I need the cash to get out of my uncle’s basement.

What I don’t count on is wanting her so damn much, and once I get a taste, I can’t stop.

Alba is an empowered young woman who knows what she wants and what she likes. And she likes sex. A lot! She lives with her mother who is dying of cancer. In order to pay her mother's medical bills she has to become a cam girl. Because she wants to please her followers so she needs to find a male partner.

So we meet KC. He is a biker who has sworn loyalty to the Steel Roses Motorcycle Club. He is a dangerous fellow who lives in a dangerous world but he will do anything to make her happy and to keep her safe.

You cand read all about their love story in Crimson Chaos. It is a beautiful love story. Just not a traditional one.

In a given moment, a talk between Alba and her mum… it made me cry because it brought my own mum to memory, who I lost many years ago. Actually I cried twice. Both situations connected to death. I don’t deal very well with it...

I laughed and I cried. I felt many different things whlile reading this book. Once I started reading I just couldn't stop.

Oh, and just in case you're wondering... Jena knows about the smut stuff!... 😏

I loved the secrets and twists this book had. Kept the page turning!

It was HOT and DIRTY too! 🥵 ❤️‍🔥

I did get really irritated at one of those 75% excuses and I almost DNF 😆 (good thing I gave it another couple paragraphs because I really enjoyed the ending!). 🖤

I absolutely loved this book! Alba is an entrepreneur and confident in her sexuality. She started her business to pay her mother’s medical expenses. When Alba receives requests to bring in a partner she finds Jericho. Jericho is the alpha male of dreams in a motorcycle club. Their open and clear communication through the production of their videos solidified their trust.

There were several surprises and twists to their story. The loyalty and finding that family is not just those you share DNA with.

The Steel Roses MC are my new guilty pleasure and I can’t wait for the second book in the series!

I received an advance copy from Voracious Readers Only in exchange for my honest review.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: 4⭐️ / 4🌶️
𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: Dark Romance
𝐏𝐎𝐕: Dual
𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭: kindle & paperback
𝐓𝐖: Parent with Terminal Cancer & typical dark romance stuff (blood, violence, 🔫, gang activity, mentions of drugs & alcohol)

𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐁𝐑 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞: Motorcycle Club, Mafia, Cam Girl, Touch her & Dïê, Instant Attraction, Found Family, Spice 🙌🏼

📖 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬:
Alba is a nerdy librarian who turned to being a secret cam girl named Aurora Dawn to help pay her mom’s medical bills for terminal cancer. She decides to venture out to find a partner for her videos because her clients are requesting specific things. She heads to a party hoping to find herself a cam boy where she unexpectedly meets Jericho, or KC as he is known by his biker gang, the Steel Roses. The two of them hit it off immediately and he contemplates joining her side hustle. The SRMC has been at war with a local Italian Mafia, The Caputis, for over 40 years and KC & Alba end up getting mixed up the feud. Be prepared for drama, steam, and lots of crazy twists! This book will take you on a wild ride.

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:
🏍️ “My mom says every time you make something, you put a piece of your soul into it. A whole book? That’s a big chunk of soul. And the library is filled with them. Words from people who’ve long since died. Words that can never be unwritten.”
🏍️ “I’d drive by his garage every day, remembering this conversation and wishing I’d had the ovaries to ask him out when I had the chance.”
🏍️ “I like you, sunshine,” he said. “I like you, too, moonbeam,” I said.
🏍️ “That’s why I tell you to live out loud. Everyone’s going to have an opinion about you one way or the other.”
🏍️ “This time, we came together. Like some phony rom-com type shit. But I swear, the fucking heavens parted in my soul. Our bond snapped fucking taut like a guitar string, vibrating all the way through me.”

𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰:
I really enjoyed this book! It had me laughing, crying and going on the rollercoaster of emotions all throughout. The plot was entertaining and flowed really well. The spice, chemistry, & sex positivity was 👌🏼! I loved how Alba & Jericho’s relationship was so natural and their communication was really refreshing. I absolutely hate when the main couple can’t communicate and there’s a stupid 3rd act breakup. It was AWESOME not seeing that at all in this book. There were a few things that happened that I guessed and could see coming, but some of the twists actually blew my mind.

It took me a bit to get into (my own issue lately with almost everything that I pick up, totally not the book’s fault at all), but once I was able to drown out my mental noise I was sucked in HARD and didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed it so much that I was wanting more of the world immediately. However, I did not vibe well with the epilogue though. I don’t feel like their story needed much wrapping up and ended really well as is before it. It honestly could have been mentioned in other books in the series. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and there’s a few characters that I hope we see more of. Maybe even a flashback of a few would be cool to see how things evolved to where this story picks up and the future.

**Most of my reviews contain detailed Content Notes (including CW/TW) sections, which may include spoilers. I have tried to mark them appropriately, but please use caution.**

Ebook

3.75

Summary: After meeting at a party, sex worker/"cam girl" Alba becomes increasingly close to outlaw biker/mechanic Jericho as they co-star in her videos. Meanwhile, her terminally ill mother becomes weaker and the MC's past problems with a mafia family kick up a gear.

Stats: CR-MC, M/F, open door, part of a series - non-romance plot continues into the next book.

Notes: I really liked this - the characters were interesting - though the side character peanut gallery was a little too loud (obviously setting up for a larger series). The main relationship was sweet and tender, I loved that the MMC pushes back when the FMC tries to pull away. The approach to kink, sex work and so on was quite open and progressive and entertaining, though I did have a little irritation with the "why" for how the FMC began filming. The mother... I really can't get over some of the choices she made. I'm also just a bit tired of the secret parent trope when done this way as a major plot twist... it wasn't the most convincing. The mafia plot line was okay but a bit scattered and convenient.

OTT and Spoilery Content Notes:

Crimson Chaos is the first book in the Steel Roses MC series and the first book I've read of Jena Doyle's and I'm hooked. I was drawn into this book right from the beginning and stayed until the very end. It is filled with sex, violence, secrets, enjoyable characters, messy relationships and everything in between.
This book is about Alba or Aurora Dawn as I like to think of her. Her mom is sick and dying so she had to quit being a librarian to become an OnlyFans cam girl. There are two sides to her hence the two names. Since she does the OnlyFans in secret the world doesn't know that side of her just the nerd looking librarian Alba. When she decides she needs a cam boy to join her she goes to a party to try and find one. That's when she meets Jericho or KC, to his club. He's at the party and they hit it off instantly but he is undecided on whether he wants to be on film especially with being in the club. When he decides he needs out of his uncle's basement he goes for it and they are a hit.
Once Jericho brings her into the club and she meets his family she's hooked but the club is dealing with problems that will put her into danger. The club has a four decade long feud going with the local mafia family the Caputis. And with Alba's mom on her deathbed her secrets need to come out to Alba. I felt so bad for her. I don't want to give anything away but her mom could have handled it better in a different way. Ru and Selene are my other favorite characters in the book. Both have messy relationship problems that I hope to see in the rest of the series to come but those girls are badass. They bring Alba into the fold and it's like they're the three musketeers.
There was nothing I found lacking or wrong in this book. Even the typos were almost non-existent (they are always my pet peeve with books). The spicy scenes were over the top, I wouldn't have minded even more of them so I gave this book a 5 spicy rating. Overall the book is 5 stars. I wouldn't change or add anything it's that good.
My favorite quote of the book: "My mom says every time you make something, you put a piece of your soul into it. A whole book? That's a big chunk of soul. And the library is filled with them. Words from people who've long since died. Words that can never be unwritten." - Alba

Really enjoyed this read! It’s been a while since I’ve picked up an MC romance and Crimson Chaos was a great welcome back!

Alba just wants to help her mom. After the matriarch was diagnosed with a terminal disease, Alba quit her job as a librarian to be an OnlyFans cam girl so she can pay for medical treatments. Sexy, sweet, and kind of a nerd, she is lusted over by men young and old, but going solo isn’t quite cutting it anymore. Alba needs a partner. Lucky for her, she meets Jericho, or KC, at a party, and the attraction is instant. They agree to become partners – sex only – for the cameras, but it’s not long before they both fall hard, and fast. Getting into a relationship wouldn’t have been difficult, if KC wasn’t a member of the Steel Roses Motorcycle Club. Being involved with him would mean constant danger, uncertainty, and not to mention pulling her into a decades long war between the Roses, and the Caputis. They both want each other, but is it enough? Or will the chaos that implodes around them tear them apart?

There was a lot to this novel that I liked. Yes, there was definitely an aspect of insta-love between Alba and Jericho, but their chemistry was electric. There was no doubt the two of them were going to get horizontal, and quickly. I also quite appreciated that they were more than just a guy and a girl having sex. Learning about Alba’s relationship with her mother, Jericho’s past with Nikki, and the entire feud between the Roses and the Caputis, made the book that much more engaging and thrilling. Full of action, drama, and whole lot of sexy times, Crimson Chaos was a great read and I will be looking for the next books in this series!

Thank you Voracious Readers and Jena Doyla for my copy! I received an ARC of this novel and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Alba was once a quiet and reserved librarian until she learned her mother was sick. With growing medical expenses and the need to take care of her mom, Alba began looking for a way to increase her income. Aurora Dawn was born and was everything Alba wasn’t. She was cool, confident, sexy, and utterly shameless about her sexuality.

Looking to expand her content, she goes to a party to find just the right partner. Could the sexy biker be the one?

Jericho went to the party to handle Rose's business. He was supposed to back up his “brother.” He had no intention of chatting up the cute and innocent-looking girl on the couch. One conversation changed it all.

Crimson Chaos is the first book in the Steel Roses Motorcycle Club series, and it was a great start. I enjoyed this story and its entire cast of characters. Each one was dynamic and relatable in their way. I especially loved the beautifully loving and honest relationship between Penny and Alba. The moment Penny found out about Alba’s job, she was nothing but supportive. I also liked that Alba could hold her own when interacting with the club and Jericho’s willingness to fight for Alba and the desire to make her happy.

There were several unexpected twists throughout the book, and although I had some suspicions, I was surprised once Penny’s past was revealed. I am ready to see what happens in the following story.

This was a good read. Kept me interested the whole way through. Loved Jericho and Alba - they were really good for each other, and I was all on board for them getting their HEA 😊

So why not rate it higher? Because of the way the heroine’s parents’ relationship was written. Had the heroine’s mum (Penny) moved on and had other relationships in the 20 odd years since she was with the heroine’s dad (Aris) then none of this would have bothered me. But the sure fire way to piss me off is writing a woman who stays celibate / faithful for a man who would never do the same for her, and have that man knock up another woman 🙄 I hated Aris and thought he got let off the hook way too easy, it was ridiculous! They’re not main characters so it shouldn’t have bothered me so much, but as soon as Alva said there had never been anyone else for her mum, it was a huge letdown. Especially when you find out Aris has another daughter whose mother he broke it off with Penny for 😳🙄 Penny deserved so much better than that so it kind of ruined the great vibe of the whole book for me. Others who don’t mind double standard bullshit won’t have this problem so will more than likely enjoy this a whole lot more 👍

Still, I loved Alba and Jericho so I can’t rate it lower than 3.5 stars.

TW for parent with terminal cancer. There’s also all the usual dark romance content: violence, blood and spice.

Wow, I got so excited reading this that I checked for the authors backlist and couldn’t find anything. Is this a debut novel? If it is Doyle knocked it out of the park. There is so much to love. The story is entertaining as hell. I love both Alba/ Aurora Dawn and Jericho/KC. It’s so refreshing to see a FMC be so confident in her sexuality and not afraid to go after what she wants. The sex positivity in the relationship, especially as a “cam” couple was so natural. Alba’s nerdy librarian personality contrasted so well with Aurora Dawn’s secret kinky lifestyle. As for Jericho, aah that man was everything. An alpha to the core, he is such a marshmallow when it comes to Alba. He is protective and supportive and a beast between the sheets.
This is such a well-rounded read. It’s MC versus Italian mafia, engaging characters, a plot with a twist I didn’t see coming, and all the spice a smut loving reader could want. The next couple has already been introduced and I can’t wait til August, but my taboo angsty loving heart is holding out for a Thor and Selene match up somewhere down the line.
Last words and I’m shouting them READ THIS BOOK!!

"Alba soothed an ache I didn't even know was there, but it had been there my entire life."

Alba is a quirky librarian with a big secret. Jericho is a bad boy biker who never saw Alba coming.

I love a good MC alpha and Jericho delivered. After being in a loveless relationship for far too long , Jericho meets Alba at a party. Neither are looking for a relationship. On the surface they are polar opposites, but Alba makes Jericho an offer he can't refuse (though he tries). Their attraction is immediate. Their "friendship" (iykyk) is hot and their banter made me smile.

When you add in the mafia, a twist or two, a couple of strong female characters and some major alpha possessive MC men, you're left with a solid MC story. I loved all the characters - some played typical MC roles, while others offered comic relief or created questions of side stories to come.

What you get:
-spicy scenes
-touch her and .... vibes
-many possessive, alpha males
-strong female characters
-mafia vs MC (long standing feud)
-insta love

Mind the TWs: One of the characters is battling a terminal illness, other than that it's just typical MC/Mafia violence and smut.

I loved Alba and Jericho from the very beginning of this book. This book had everything in it: hot MC members, sexy librarian who turns cam girl to support her mother with cancer, loyal family/friends, surprise family lines, mafia, violence and steam, lots of steam. Alba and Jericho hook up at a party where Alba is trying to find an exclusive “business” partner. Even though they are both trying to prevent it, their relationship soon goes from professional to personal. There is a whole cast of characters that add different angels to the book and set up the next books in the series.

I thought this author did a great job with the steamy scenes, she knows when they can be drawn out but also when it’s best to keep them short and sweet (well maybe sweet isn’t the right word). However, I did think the scenes were a little repetitive, they talk about how on camera they do pretty much everything, but the sex scenes that are in the book are basically the same two acts. The book is well written and even though there is a lot going on, you never feel lost. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Having read the description of this book I was really looking forward to reading it. The main characters are Alba and Jericho. Alba is a "cam girl" she started it as a way to get money to pay for her mum's medical bills. Her mum has a terminal illness. Wanting to make more money she goes to a party to find a guy who would join her on camera, this is where she meets Jericho. Jericho knows who she is and agrees to help her out. So, I was thinking to myself this is a book about a motorcycle club the Steel Roses to be exact and I wasn't getting the MC club vibe. That was when I continued to read and suddenly there it was; big rough sexy bikers, illegal shenanigans, and violence but they were loyal and bighearted men who loved their women and brothers with every fibre of their being. They would kill to protect their family and in this book they do! Buckle up for a wild ride! I loved all the characters and I definitely recommend it, however the violence and *sex may be too much for some readers.

This was an amazing story. It had some of the smuttiest scenes I've ever read (dang they were smoking hot!), some of the bloodiest scenes I've ever read and some of the most heart touching scenes as well.

This book is brutally honest. It doesn't pull its punches. It's dark, gritty and depraved. But I absolutely loved every second of it. It also taught the meaning of found family, true love and having friends around to lean on no matter what happens. And believe me - sh*t gets real in this book!

I laughed, I cried, I felt elated, I felt depressed. I certainly ran the gamut of emotions while reading this story. Is this a story for everyone - probably not. Some might turn their noses up and walk away as soon as they find out what Alba's main source of income is. But if you want a story that's going to stick with you for a good long while after you turn that last page, and you've got an open mind in regards to sex, drugs and Motorcycle Clubs - then grab this book and devour it. You'll be glad you did.

This book actually exceeded my expectations. I didn't expect what I hot from what I thought it would be after reading the blurb. The characters were likeable and relatable. Easy to root for. Despite Albas profession, I guess I thought she would still hold this innocence, and she was definitely a bit more out there but not in a way that turned you off. The intimacy was very spicy, and I loved their progression to falling for each other even though it happened pretty quickly. I also like that there was a storyline outside of their relationship. It didn't feel like too much it was engaging and kept me invested. Honestly i kind of expected the twist about who penny was, i hope we get to see nikki get what she deserves sooner rather than later, i was kind of hoping they would take care of her and take the baby and raise it themselves. Despite the ominous warning the Widow gave, I loved the epilogue and seeing how they are years after the fact. I'll definitely read this author's work again. I got this book on stuff your kindle day and I have to say I actually really enjoyed it. We’ve got Alba, and hard working cam girl and Jericho, a sexy tattooed biker who instantly becomes obsessed with our FMC. I love how the author gave us a dual POV, and we also get a pretty decent story line (especially with the amount of smut in the book).

We get thrown right in to the story in the first chapter, and I love a good fast paced book, but I almost wished it was a little longer because I did actually enjoy the story. I mean the whole story covers only a few weeks! Where was the buildup?!

I will say that the smut scenes weren’t anything to rave about. Granted, there were a lot, but they could’ve been more detailed, emotional (at the appropriate times) and a bit more drawn out. It seemed like we got the basics for each scene, but if a few were cut out, and the ones that were left were expanded on a bit more, it would’ve made the story that much better.

All in all, I really liked this book. I’m a sucker for a good motorcycle club romance and this was definitely a welcomed surprise. So much so that I actually bought the second book. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

If you like your MC Romance HEAVY on the spicy scenes, then this book is perfect for you.

Jena Doyle has started a new MC series and it goes of with a BANG! We have a “good girl in the streets, but a BAD girl in the streets heroine, an insta-love catching hero and enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing.

I hit a bit of a wall around the half way mark, but I’m so glad I pushed through. Thats when the foreshadowing starts to come together and the big picture is taking shape.

In all, I really appreciated Jena’s crafting of the story. Characters are well developed, conflict is on point. Introduction of the secondary characters (and hints to their love interests) are done with just enough mystery to get the curiosity up.

Very much enjoyed this book. Recommend if you enjoy family based, insta-love, badass’ with a kinky side.

I received this book as an ARC via Book Sirens. This is my honest and voluntary review.

So MC is not my usual reading but this book was well written with really smart and rational characters. She had to set up a lot of history and back story for the ongoing series going forward and I think she gave enough teasers about the other characters to keep you interested in learning how their lives turn out.

The sex scenes were amazing. Really hot and plenty of them. I’m hoping the rest of the series will continue to be equally sex positive.

And finally, KC and Alba. I liked them together right off the bat. They were both strong characters and I didn’t once think that their responses to events were ridiculous. Very realistic emotional content.

I wasn’t sure about the premise of this book but I took a chance because it sounded interesting and I’m so glad I did. If MC romances are your thing, I think you’d enjoy this read. I might reading the subsequent books as well.

Okay usually for an ARC, I write notes while I read of what I like and dislike. This one I was just enjoying- some solid chemistry and hot scenes, some feasible and not over the top drama...but then the TWIST it got me oh shit. Realistically, I should've seen it coming because I've read books with this type of thing a bunch of times before, but I did not.
Here's what I will say. The "pew! pew!" written out a bunch in one of the shooting scenes took some of the seriousness out of the situation and I hated the epilogue literally so much. I don't love an epilogue in general, but this one was particularly offensive to me. It just didn't add anything and actually made me like some characters less, which I don't think was the intent.
Overall, not super memorable or filled with beautiful language, but honestly a solid read for me.

If you're a fan of motorcycle club/mafia, smut-heavy romance with a side of gunslinging, than look absolutely no further than the Steel Roses series. It's been a long time since I've read an MC romance and I wasn't sure the genre was quite for me anymore, but I loved this book! Also, is this a debut??? If so, I'm shook.

Alba, the 'sexy-behind-closed-doors' heroine and Jericho, the brawny and brooding MC were the perfect pair. Their cam scenes were hot af, and the chemistry between them was palpable. The spice was immaculate! I would have preferred the whole book be set over a longer time period (there was a bit too much insta-love for me) and I feel with the amount of sub-plots, it would have been reasonable for it to unfold over six months rather than six weeks.

I am beyond excited to continue reading about the rest of the club as more books are released.

Thank you to Book Sirens for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was such a great read and a fab introduction to a new-to-me author. I found this story, basically a MC vs Mob story, to be fully engaging. The main characters, Alba and Jericho, have scorching hot chemistry. They meet at a party where she's looking for a partner for her webcam business (she's a camgirl because the pay is enough to support her mom's cancer treatments, unlike her librarian pay) and they hit it off fabulously. These two were everything together and I loved following them along as they worked through their business relationship and into a more personal one. Unfortunately, club business brings trouble to her door, too, and I can't get over the twists that come as the story progresses. This well written and fast paced read had all the feels I could want in a romance, as well as action, twists, danger and steam that was off the charts hot. I can't wait for the next book to come out because the side characters were awesome, too. So much to look forward :D

Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I loved this book more than I thought it would. When I read “Sons of Anarchy meets Onlyfans” in the blurb I RAN and got this book. This books was so spicy but had a great plot line to it too. I love an MC romance and this one was just giving! Jericho and Alba are so hot together I loved their dynamic and i loved Albas secret personality. The way Jericho was like a possessive golden retriever was the cutest thing. I have so many questions about this world and I can’t wait to read the other books in the series. I’m excited to see how the stories will develop and I hope we get to see Alba and Jericho in the other books.

The spice..oh my lord forgive me for I have sinned 🥵 🔥. This was so good!!! The cam aspect of it just made everything so much hotter. That first scene where he was filming her was just perfection. Don’t even get me started on that motorcycle scene. So many spicy elements but it blended so well with the plot it was done so good.

If you like MC plots, betrayal, grief, long-feuding rivalries, and steamy scenes, then this book is for you. The Steel Roses MC and the Caputi family have been fighting and killing each other for years and it is about to heat up. Long held secrets will be uncovered, a rat in the MC will be revealed and a love will form between 2 people after a chance encounter. Alba and Jericho meet at a party and later become business partners, friends and so much more. What starts out as a business proposition quickly turns into an all-consuming love, but will it be torn apart from the feud or can they overcome their own fears to find a HEA. I’m not usually a MC reader, but the writing was done well and the story kept me interested to continue. This is a promising start to a new series. I read an ARC of this book.

4.5 🌟

I am such a sucker for good MC book but it’s been awhile since I’ve read one. So when the chance to read this one popped up I jumped on it!

This book was so good I sat down and read it in one day. I really enjoyed Alba’s growth throughout. She’s a cam girl, so she’s obviously not shy in some respects, but she really does come out of her shell with Jericho, and fully embraces herself. Speaking of Jericho, he’s not your typical MMC for this type of book, but I was actually here for that. I really liked seeing this type of character being part of an MC.

There were some twists in here, that while I called some of them, there were others that surprised me. And damn if there wasn’t a part that had me in tears. If you want a really good, quick read, that is an MC romance, look no further.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really liked the camgirl element of this book! A lot of MC books are about strippers who have no control over their performance, so I liked the idea that this girl down on her luck actually started her own business. Alba 'hiring' Jericho as a coworker because it would be a smart business move was just amazing.

The story is kinda instalove, but it didn't bother me at all as they both denied their feelings for quite some time.

The thing about the story I didn't really like was the background story about Penny and Aris. It just felt off. Aris didn't do anything particularly bad, I just don't agree with his choices.

The pacing of this book was a bit weird at times. It made small timejumps of a few hours which made me confused and could have been avoided.
