I read this to consider using it for evangelism with those from a non-Christian background. I thought it was excellent for purpose.

My only concern (amazingly!) is the "pray this prayer" at the end followed by "If you have prayed this prayer, it is just the beginning of your new life with Jesus" (p. 68). Dangerous decisionalism. Otherwise, an excellent resource.

This book deepened my understanding of who Jesus truly was, blending biblical examples with personal testimonies from public figures. Its insights not only clarified aspects of His life but also drew me into a closer, more personal connection with God.

Helpful, simple and compelling, particularly if you're someone who is not yet a Christian.

With lightness of touch, Carswell looks over some of the key passages of the Bible and explains them, illustrating them with examples and some personal stories. Only 65ish pages, a great book to give away to a curious friend!
