Green World

Rate this book
All those beautiful green worlds where humanity truly lived in harmony with nature. It took courage to destroy paradise.

In a faraway future, humans live in primitive space colonies, observing strict rules set by their Guardians and the Centreworld, protecting their natural surroundings. Two boys from a famished tribe break the rules in desperation– becoming outlaws forever. Some years later, a brutal terror campaign is unleashed against the peaceful colonies and the Centreworld authorities. As a young Guardian Vyema sets out to find the dangerous terrorists, she is in for a journey of revelations – not only about the terrorists and their aims but also of herself and the fate of all humanity.

Green World was Lucilla Lin’s first science fiction novel, published originally 2017 in Finnish.

Writer of pulpish horror, dystopian science fiction and fantasy stories. I like mixing elements of horror with other genres and I've created my own mythology and monsters.

My academic background is in art history and I've specialized on 18th - 19th century arts and culture. History and art is one of my greatest inspirations as a horror writer.

I've published my stories in anthologies with genres and settings varying from supernatural colonial horror to dystopian fiction and prehistorical barbarian warfare. Ideologically I like to be ambivalent and avoid preaching my quite old fashioned and traditionalist values. I aim to create an universe that is
beautiful, frightening and darkly humorous.

I'm grateful for every review, no matter how bad. I like them all and they inspire me to write better.
