Just when you think Robert Killer can not write another informative true crime book you'd be mistaken. This man has seriously mastered the craft of writing in the true crime genre. He's never over the top gory or unable to provide all the details to get a full understanding of the crime or the victim. And he often shows how loved ones don't give up until a killer is brought to justice. He is just as adept at showing the impact of the crime on family members. What is so heartbreaking is how often the perpetrator is someone known to the victim - a spouse, a parent, a child, family friend. Other people who we should be able to trust fall far short of our expectations - a policeman, a taxi driver, sometimes even the criminal justice system. Men have been locked up for years only to learn that they were wrongfully convicted. There are stalkers, teen killers, and some despicable pedophiles. Rest assured there will be more to come from Robert Keller.
As always Mr. Keller has done it again!! If you are looking for a really good true crime book that is well written and well researched then look no further. While I love to read most books from this author amd I wish they came out quicker, I can't complain. I know when I pick up his books not only will I not want to put it down but most of his stories are ones not written about over and over. So if you are like me and looking for a new true crime book with NEW stories look no further its all here!! The only complaint I have is I wish they were published a lot more quickly!! (Lol)
Another excellent book written by Robert Keller. His writing continues to improve and he reports his stories with great skill.
Each of his stories is preceded by a picture of the murderer(s) involved. It appears thatMr Keller himself draws or paints in some extra flourishes to improve the photograph. These are terrific and the photos in this collection are especially fine.
I read Roger Keller's books as a filler between other books. Each story is not much more than a handful of pages. I usually read his books in a day or two. Usually the obscure murders he writes about are ones I am not familiar with.
As one true crime enthusiast to another, I highly recommend this book. Robert Keller is a great writer of true crime, and he always keeps the reader's attention. He is very knowledgeable, and that is one reason he is one of my favorite authors.
True crime books are haunting and educational. This book highlights that the person next door, to the preacher in the pulpit, and even the mentally challenged person living down the block can be evil.
Interesting, informative and kept my attention. It's a shame the the authorities couldn't catch these killers after1 victim, so more lives could be saved.
