Talk, Learn, Connect: Interviews with leaders from business, community & the arts

Rate this book
A collection of interviews with individuals in business, community and the arts.

You may find from reading these interviews a greater understanding of a topic, or a comprehension that other people have gone through similar challenges; perhaps you will discover how running a business can be both scary and exhilarating. Whatever you take from any of the stories here, I hope it helps you on your journey.

We often hear the phrase “Sharing is Caring”, and the same can be applied to our own life stories. There are many topics covered in this book, if there is another you would like to share, contact me and let’s write your TLC story.

I have often said in my own writing that you are your own story and only you can determine its ending. But, before you get there, you need a beginning and a middle section. Sometimes you need to experience living before you can write your story – so go out and live.

Talk Learn Connect (8th November 2022) is a dream come true for Yvonne Reddin, a Dublin based freelance writer and content/story creator. During the Pandemic-induced lockdown, Yvonne reached out to many people across social media in various occupations in the hope of broadening her knowledge across multiple areas. Her focus was on people that she felt would inspire, ordinary people who had a story to tell. Her guests were many including Lorraine Keane, Bibi Baskin, Gerry Creighton, Loretta Dignam, TD Jennifer Carroll Mac Neill, Baby Sleep expert Lucy Wolfe, actress Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson) and a variety of digital & marketing experts, coaches, authors, community leaders and more.

Talk Learn Connect is a collection of nearly forty interviews. Yvonne asked each guest five unique questions and curated their answers with a very conversational style. Featuring a mix of human stories, some more poignant than others, there is a common thread of authenticity and relatability running throughout. These are tales of endurance, determination and courage that will encourage and inspire all to be true to oneself at all times. Entrepreneurs, life coaches, mental health campaigners, Reiki masters and more combine to create a collective of thoughts and experiences. These human-interest stories from so many who are passionate leaders for change is a reassuring experience that leaves the reader with a sense of hope and sense of fulfilment.

“TLC connects stories from people who share their work experiences, their challenges, their traumas, their inner beliefs and their journey. Whether it has been an easy road to where you are now or quite the opposite, TLC gives me the platform to share these honest, human stories with a wider audience – YOU. People have shown how resilient and innovative they can be. Learning to live through a global pandemic has been challenging, debilitating, a learning curve and a chance to reset our lives. Innovation and new ideas have been key to many people coping with the pandemic and the ‘new’ normal world we are stepping into over the coming months.” – Yvonne Reddin

Such diverse characters/connections, and the questions Yvonne asks give us great insights into these personalities

This is a book that I read and re-read (again and again). Gleaning new learnings and inspiration from the variety of the content

Talk, Learn and Connect is an excellent title

Well worth the read, and re-read

Thank you Yvonne
