Blood is thicker than poison… Don’t miss the breath-taking finale to K’s saga of vengeance and retribution.
Lisa and Jeremy’s lives are hanging by a single thread.
But there is much more waiting for K in their kidnapper’s torture chamber.
A lost brother. A terrifying madman. And a door to her past that will make her question everything.
Meeting Quentin, the brother she never knew she had, opens the floodgates of lost memories, and takes K back to the start… before she lost her name and threw herself into the game of crime and justice.
The orphanage where they grew up, the tortures they went through in the experiments known as Trials, and the powers these tortures granted them are all coming back to life before her eyes.
K always knew she was stronger and faster than all the low-lives and criminals she had fought. She just didn’t know why.
Now the truth makes her wish she never found out.
What if the secret drug used on them wasn’t lost in the fire that destroyed the facilities where she and her brother were reborn?
Where K and Quentin became monsters.
When K realizes her delirious brother controls it and uses it for his sick plans, she has to answer to an impossible offer:
Join him and help put his destructive plan into action… or die.

William Baker lives on the West Coast with his wife, son, and their two cats, Tiger and Panther. An avid reader across genres, he gravitates toward mystery and thrillers. Writing from childhood onward, he later trained as an economist, but storytelling endured, eventually drawing him back to writing for good.
Devil's Dolls Series: A book broken into pieces, each a cliffhanger, each quickly read since part is about six chapters. Interesting story lines with gore and action, but simplistic in nature. Entertaining no-brainer with no vulgar language and some silly dialog. K is likeable. The Devil's Origin, prequel pt. 1 - Interesting introduction about K's start. 4* Vengeance in Black, prequel pt. 2 - How K meets Lisa. 3* The Devil's Dollmaker #1 - Interesting but reminds me of a Horror movie I saw in the late Sixties, but much worse. Gory but not graphic to extremes, just enough for visualization. 4* The Silent Watcher #2 - Good vengeance, simplistic but effective. Intriguing side story fully in the works. 4* Trail of Blood #3 - Goodness, the amount of depravity that exists in this section. 4* The Devil's Tale #4 - Good mix of Cozy and simplistic rushing to finish this section. 3* The Devil's Reckoning, #5 - I did not care for this installment. The fight scene, and the previous scene, and the dialog between K and her opponent was boring, unbelievable, actually silly. Will admit the secret at the end of the installment was worth reading this bit. 3* The Devil's Blood, #6 - This segment is an improvement from Reckoning. Good action and mind games. 4* Bad Blood, #7 - New lives. The writing style did not hold my interest. Good story line, though. 3* Touched By Death, #8 - This is as far as I go. The average writing style, the lack of editing, and sometimes the dialogues cannot keep my interest anymore. 3* Devil's Dolls Series end.
The Devil’s Blood is Book 6 in The Devil’s Dolls Series. The Devil's Blood, which is Book 6 in The Devil's Dolls Series, provides answers to all your questions about "K," including her real name, making it a must-read. Where she came from. How she got her superpowers. Who the silent watcher is. Who her mysterious boss is. This book lays the foundation for all the books to follow, and you need to read this one to appreciate the ones to follow. Of all the books in the series that I have read and reviewed, this one is the most difficult to review without dropping spoilers into the mix.
These books are rollercoaster thrill rides, and adrenaline rushes. They’re all action-packed thrillers, but this one is even more so. Bakers’ writing is so crisp and vivid that the reader can almost feel the blows being exchanged between K and... Oops, can’t go there. Spoiler!! This book casts a bright spotlight on where "K" is headed and sheds light on what brought her to where she is in the saga.
I read and review many episodic thrillers, but Baker’s Devil’s Dolls are the best of them all. It is cross-genre writing at its best, mixing mystery, thriller, Sci-Fi, and a bit of horror. A winning mix, for sure. William Baker is the master of the episodic thriller. I have already downloaded books seven and eight and will read them next. I need to find out what lies in store for K, Lisa, and Jeremy.
K meets her older brother Quentin and he has put her in ankle chains and she hates him as he had Lisa and Jeremy there too touched and in pain. But he is able to get through to her and make her remember her past which she had buried deep inside her mind. It was a horrible past where people were using children for experiments . Both brother and sister go through a tormented time there . Quentin tells her her real name which was Kara. But she learns the horrible plan she wants and fights back. A great read. Full of horror and suspense. I received this book free and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.
The 6th book in the Devil's Dolls series wraps up season one with an absolute bang. K is reunited with a dark figure from her past and finally gets some answers. We are just as stunned as she to learn of who she is and how she came about. What a ride. Never in a million years did I see this coming. Very satisfactory ending to season one. I received a free advanced readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review of the tale.
Well all of the books in the series boil down to this final book. And what a book it is 😍 K finalling learns the truth about her past and who her mysterious benefactor had been, and why they have been sending her on her missions. I've loved reading this series as it is well written and K, thr main character, had kept me gripped throughout. I'm hoping that there will be a follow on series, as there is definitely scope for more to come from K ❤️❤️
The Devil's Blood is the 6th and final novel in the series the Devil's Dolls Book. Immerse yourself in this finale, where passion mix with cruelty and the discovery that poison that gave our protagonists the powers of monsters may not have been destroyed. Life itself may hang in the balance I received this novel from BookFunnel. This is my true and honest review.
K discovers that it is her brother who is sending her on assignments but he is not a loving brother. She is held captive along with Lisa and Jeremy and learns some horrifying facts about her past. A gripping finale with nail biting suspense which gave me the chills.
Finally, the series is over (at least for me). With the concept, it could've been written well. There are lots of gaps in the storyline too (for instance the experiments got over a long time back, but the story moves as if it happens in a few weeks).
Best of luck to the author in his future endeavors.
K gets beaten and kidnapped by her brother Q, who she now remembers. Orphans used by the government for experiments. K and Q survived, but Q has a diabolical plan. K needs to find a way to rescue her friends and escape her evil brother.
What a great way to end the series. Finding out K’s story was incredible. To go through so much and to still have a good heart makes her an amazing character. When I found out who K’s boss was, I was shocked! Excellent writing and so much was available in such a short read.
Wow what a ending to season One. I must admit I was getting scared for K and trying to help her. Yet, at same time I knew she'd somehow make it. This book was amazing. Finally finding out what happened to K during her childhood and how she became a fighter for good.
This was an interesting ending to the first season of books. We learn more of K and where she comes from and how she is different. I did wish we have more of the killer doll maker in the series because that is just so creepy but it was a fun read for sure.
K continues on and learns she has a brother who jogs her memories to help her remember her past. An explosive ending with more to come. Great short story.
There is a lot of problems waiting for K. Lisa and Jeremy's lives are hanging by a thread. She meets her long lost brother Quentin and her memories surface again. She had changed her name and joined a crime team to find justice. She remembered the tortures they went through and the experiments named “Trail” in the orphanage that they grew up in . She learns that her brother uses drugs to control and use it for his sick plans. This is A chilling read. I received this book free and leave a honest review . I recommend this book to other readers.
