Knowing the Score

Rate this book
Jewelry designer Ashley Craig snags an exclusive invite to the oh-so-posh Bella Florida Polo Club in order to "bump into" a world-renowned jewelry seller and wow him with her creations. Instead, she spies polo player Beckett Emery, who has a body designed to wow her….

The problem is that Mr. Polo-Playing Sexypants makes Ashley forget about her business proposal—as well as everything else that doesn't involve Beck being stark naked. What's worse, he might think she was using him to get access to the club. Can she keep up with her fancy charade…without Beck knowing the score?

My first Mills and Boon, and possibly my last, lots of smut, entertaining descriptions and fun to read aloud to flat

Knowing the Score impacted me greatly. I really liked the setting, which I found unusual and intriguing. Marie Donovan made me want to watch polo and experience the Florida she described in this story. I enjoyed Donovan's writing style; it's earthy and descriptive.

I really liked Ashley and Beckett. I thought they were great together. My favorite part of this story, though, was that Ashley and Beckett were individuals and had their own interests. I found them interesting when they were dealing with other aspects of their lives and I found them interesting together. I look forward to reading more of Donovan's work.
