ONLY JACK COULD GET LUCKY IN WARSAW, THEN WAKE UP IN MOSCOW A WANTED MAN.
When Jack—just Jack—attends a soiree at the Russian Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, he isn’t there for a good time—he’s there to meet with a Russian asset within the FSB, the successor to the dreaded KGB. She insists she has intel that must be delivered directly into his hands, but not before she enjoys one last tryst with the CIA Operations Officer.
Jack is more than happy to comply, and after a night of passion, falls asleep with a smile on his face.
Only to wake up in a hotel room in Moscow, with the state police pounding on his door.
Jack, and America, stand accused of assassinating the Russian president, and the two great nations stand on the brink of war.
Disavowed, Jack must not only clear his name, but discover who the true assassin is, despite the fact he is tormented by flashbacks of the treacherous act.
Jack is in a race against time to find the truth before two countries with massive nuclear arsenals at their disposal go to war.
With over one million books sold, award winning and USA Today bestselling author J. Robert Kennedy has been ranked by Amazon as the #1 Bestselling Action Adventure novelist based upon combined sales. He is the author of over fifty international bestsellers including the smash hit James Acton Thrillers. He lives with his wife and daughter and writes full-time.
This author has a bunch of books in Kindle Unlimited and none of them were great. But Amazon suggested this and it appeared as a new series, which I stupidly assumed meant new publisher and editor. Nope, more of the same drivel, with the same two dimensional characters. I don’t know if I’m more upset about the 8 bucks or the time I wasted reading this thing. Either way I encourage you not to waste yours.
Exciting and at times hilarious and overall a very serious story. For those who have had the misfortune to watch the British Carry On films from the 70s this is a flashback only Sid James is replaced by a good looking American, thankfully! This is a spy story that would make a great film as long as a certain Tom Cruise has no part in any part of it. This is an exciting fast paced spy thriller with twist and turns and a real whodunit. 5 stars aren't enough and I hope book two can match it for thrills, comedy excitement and the Jack experience.
After getting a peak at this Jack character in Kennedy's other books I was excited to see a series dedicated to this elusive character. After reading this installment I am looking forward to getting to know more about Jack in future installments.
This is one the best book of many J.Robert Kennedy has put out and I look forward to each title he puts out! This has everything a good suspense book should have and I highly recommended ! Thanks Robert !!
Excellent Page-turning, Espionage, thriller. I read it in one day. Couldn't put it down. Jack is a hero I love already in this his first adventure. Can't wait for the next one. Another great read from J. Robert Kennedy.
I truly felt that you super compressed the events that would’ve been more spread out in the real world time frame. Then we get a filling where so much happen a chacther like in a previous book we’re you did something similar in China and just rest every to the old status-quo.
Jack's a bit over the top; a little bit "too good to be true." But aside from the main character's believability, the story was decent and there's non-stop action.
