Chicken soup books are the gold standard, but this is a close silver/gold. Little snippet chapters which leave you wondering, and thankful. Little prayers and illustrations break up the text well too. There's even an occasional quote. Worth reading once.

I really enjoyed this devotional book. I call it a devotional as it is inspiration, funny at times, but down to earth where we live and true to life. I enjoyed reading this book!

Based on past readings, Swindoll has a terrific sense of humor, however, we were disappointed in most of the selections from the various contributors in this little book. There were 5-6 which provoked us to say to eachother, "Ok, now that one was a good one!" but otherwise, it wasn't our cup of tea!

I only laughed out loud once. They were more chuckle stories with a Christian moral at the end. All of them were clean. I wasn't expecting so much churchy stuff in it, not that it was bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting.
