Over the hills of Procence a huge silver ship glowed in the sky... from its featureless hull came eight small circular craft - that dropped - and landed their cargo - and rose again into the stratosphere...
David Vincent, the only man who knew and believed in the existence of the Invaders, began to watch and study the wooded terrain of southern France. And when the forests began to die, the trees to shed their leaves and blacken, he knew that once more he must fight the alien invasion of THE INVADERS.
The last novel based on "The Invaders" TV series has David Vincent in France, investigating an area where trees are dying out early. The aliens are planning on introducing their own plant-life into the area to help with their colonization of our world. The plot is rather cumbersome, and logic is stretched somewhat, but the story is interesting enough, if rather padded. The main distraction is that the author loves to overuse his exclamation points!!!
