The all-new National Geographic Traveler: Argentina begins in the exciting and affordable capital of Buenos Aires and travels to every province, from the Inca-influenced realm of the northwest to the ice-chilled tip of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego in the south. Drives include the amazing landscapes of the Cafayete-Cachi Loop in Salta Province and the spectacular Sierras del Cordoba. The book is peppered with ideas for getting behind the scenes, including studying Spanish, celebrating the tango, and wine-tasting in some of the world’s most beautiful wineries.
I think this kind of product is what National Geographic stands for. Great information on geography, history, travelling. And of course photos. The sections dedicated to the natural world are short but very dense. I enjoyed finding there the specific Argentinian names for the species. I gave only 3 stars because I do not plan to go to Argentina. :P
Provides some interesting information about the country, but I don't know why, I did not really feel like I got the vibe of the places. Sometimes I feel like packing when reading such books, but not this time. Some stunning places to see though, for sure.
