A concise introduction to clematis briefly covering just about every growth and care issue with the exception of problems and pests. I did finally find a possible solution for my non-thriving clematis buried in a summer what-to-do section. (Liquid seaweed or tomato fertilizer). Until I can get my clematis to thrive and display many vibrant flowers, the rest seems superfluous. On the other hand, it's an easy read for someone considering adding a clematis to their garden, so do pick it up if you're looking to learn more before you buy.
Clematis (American Horticultural Society Practical Guides) by Charles Chesshire (D.K Publishing 1999) (635.933) is a short volume of advice pertaining only to clematis. My rating: 6/10, finished 4/5/12.
