Yanagi Sōetsu (柳 宗悦, March 21, 1889 - May 3, 1961), also known as Yanagi Muneyoshi, was a Japanese philosopher and founder of the mingei (folk craft) movement in Japan in the late 1920s and 1930s.
Namuamidabutsu tsuki kokorouta: Written by Yanagi Soetsu. A Japanese philosopher and founder of Mingei (Folk Art) Movement which explored the beauty of local unknown artists. His influence is survived by Leach Pottery in St. Ives, Cornwall, U.K. The book is his introspective journey in to the world of Buddhism.
