Very informative and helpful for this confusing task. I must admit that I love to prune! Sometimes a little too much... A simple book that covers correct cuts, when to prune specific plants, tools that help, and nice pictures. The only problem I had is that he tended to not use common names until the end of the book. I knew I had a lilac to trim back but didn't know it was called "Syringa" so totally missed that one until the end. Best advice, get to know your plants patterns and cycles; don't be afraid to cut aggressively for those plants that can take it. Love your plants!
