The fast and easy way to learn audio-frequency electronics This new addition to the Demystified series offers practical, easy-to-understand information on the latest audio-frequency (AF) electronics technologies. You will learn basic electronics and mathematical concepts, followed by details on speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and equalizers. Specialized topics include computer recording, home and car audio system installation, amplifier design, and live sound reinforcement.
It covers bitesize explanations of various basics of electronic circuit components chapter by chapter, leading up to things like Op Amps and a little beyond.
At the end of each chapter is a 10 question check task which usefully got me thinking and looking back over the material, but wasn't that demanding.
Missing is any information regarding history of development. Another problem is the lack of any real concrete examples as the explanations and chapters progress. These two factors left it all very surfacey and abstract. So I gave up a few chapters from the end - perhaps just when the concrete examples were going to materialize.
Still a useful read though, but not enough detail for my taste.
