The Guide

It is the counsel of the Lord that stands forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations is what we find written in Psalm 33:11. How profound! God desires to reach every generation with his counsel, wisdom and knowledge. He longs to instruct, teach and guide each of us as we yield unto Him (Psalm 32:8). Amazingly, not many of us initially want God’s help. We often fight for independence. We further, cry out to do things our way. Why is that? As you read this book, consider what God has to say. Walk out your life with an open mind to hear from Heaven. Attempt to understand why you are precious in the sight of God. After all, did not God create the heaven and the earth and YOU (Genesis Ch. 1)? Why would a living God take so much time to give explicit directions, insights about life, and the opportunity for each of us to discover Him? You were fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). God desires to perfect the very thing that concerns you (Psalm 128:8). He has plans to prosper you and to give you an expected end, a bright future (Jeremiah 29:11). Is it far-fetched or unreasonable for God too desire to shine on your path of life? To guide you into truth and to show you a peaceful way of living while on your life journey? Shall your purpose in life be aborted because you are naïve to the fact that God holds your future in the palm of His hand (John 15:5b; Acts 17:28a)? God is love! Love is patient and love is kind; love is gentle and love long suffers; love believes all things and hopes for the best (1 Corinthians 13). When you fall, get back up! When life throws you into a maze, keep walking because “love” will reroute your course. If you will, start tracking your path/steps and ask for help when you seemingly are not where you desire to be. The Lord looketh from heaven…from the place of His habitation He looketh upon every person in the earth (Psalm 33:13-14). “The Guide” book encourages young readers to discover God and to know what His plan is for their life on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. His guidance, His direction and His counsel is sure and from everlasting to everlasting…enabling all (every generation) to experience the highest quality of life as He GUIDES. I compel you to not just exist, but to live an abundant and rich life that will glorify the Heavenly Father and bless YOU!
