Do not consider those who feel delighted about what they have been given and love to be praised for something they have not done, do not reckon they [have found] any means to triumph over torment. 3/189

I thought this book would focus more on steroids, but steroids are only secondary to Courson's life story. There's nothing wrong with this, but with the title I would have hoped to learn a little more about how the steroids played into his everyday life.
The writing was lower-level, and I didn't really connect with Courson very well. However, I did learn some things about steroids and their use in professional sports like football.
