ALTER YOUR DESTINY!

In Book One of the Altered Destiny series, we meet Sasha Miller, a young girl from Brooklyn who has grown up amid drugs, crime, and violence. She manages to make a life for herself on the streets, with money, sex, respect, power, notoriety, and even love, and she feels that the choices she has made to get there are the right ones. No one can stop her or tell her otherwise. But it all comes crashing down when one of the choices she has made comes back to haunt her. While living the life of a drug dealer's girl, entering the game and scheming her way through to get what she wants, she learns that success in this game and the choices she has made do not matter-especially when she faces Him, and He shows her how her choices have altered her destiny. Will Sasha get a second chance to make the right decisions? Or will it be too late?

I read this book in one night, well actually this is my second time reading it. The first time I read this book I as of yet had not started my blog. So I decided to read it again and give my review. Gangsta girl Sasha grew up in Brooklyn New York in the Bedford Stuyvesant area. Sasha was a nice girl that was just caught up in her environment. When you are raised around drug dealers, dope fiends, and prostitution and not to mention the killings that happend every day, you kind of just adapt to that. Thinking that things like that are just ordinary. Hey you see a dope dealer living the glamorous life driving expensive cars, in the latest fashion with his pockets fat you start wanting that life too. And that is How Sasha altered her destiny from becoming a successful adult to ending up being a female drug boss.

This story had me mesmerized from the beginning. The suspense that the author bought was just great she had me on the edge of my seat with all the turns the book was taking. I found myself yelling out loud at this book saying things like " Damn for real," or " Hell naw." Sasha was devious in her own way one minute she had me thinking she was in love with one guy, when she was really in love with another guy. When in fact it was the other guy whose name is T would told Sasha to play like she liked his best friend S.D which was a big dope man that T was working with. But T wanted more than his friend S.D was giving him, T wanted it all and in order to have it all he had to eliminate his competition which was his boy S.D. What better way to eliminate someone than going for there weakness and S.D's weakness was girls so T made sure Sasha was S.D's type. They made sure that Sasha got real close and personal with S. D, making him feel comfortable enough to let his guard down and trust her.
Once Sasha and T got S.D to trust and like Sasha, it was real easy to set him up. T came up with a plan to have his boy killed while on vacation in Italy with Sasha. Once he was out of the way the drug game would be there's all the power and money that S.D This book also has a very strong message to young adults out here idolizing the streets that is another reason why I loved this book.

The message is Your decisions and choice's now will affect your destiny, your future. Your outcome will be determined upon what you decide. So decide right because if you don't your life and the lives of others will be affected. So like I always ask about this time. Would I recommend this book to others? Yes there is a very powerful message in it. What would I give this book on a scale from 1-10? I would give it a 10, this book was very well written and very thought out....

This was an excellent book.
This book speaks from the heart.
Altered Destiny will make you think about the choices you have made or will make
Its a story of a girl name Sasha. Sasha makes a lot of bad choices and is taken back to view what she did. The book holds your interest , you wont want to put it down. I wish all middle and high school students were made to read this book, even some elementary students. It really makes you stop and think about what you are doing and where you are going in life.

This book was actually good. It made me think about my life and my current walk with Christ. It's about a girl who choose to live her life her way and not take heed to warnings to change. It was Christ showing her her mistakes and how her mistakes and actions affected other's lives.

Altered Destiny is about a young girl that has a rough life from the beginning growing up in Brooklyn getting involved in the game. The story breaks her life down and shows all her mistakes. The message is clearly about the right paths and the wrong paths in life and the choices made by this young girl and how it affected many. This books spiritual message was judicious. Although sadly as a person that believes in second chances I had hoped for a different outcome. To me, it felt a little imprecise and incomplete. Oh well, it certainly makes a case for the" for never judge a book by its cover" saying. All in all, I still enjoyed it.
