I remember really enjoying this book as a kid so I just had to find it again and see what was so cool about it. Honestly, now, I don't like it much. While it does give sound advice on how to deal with problems that the girls of this time face, it feels a little like a book of gossip and I think that some of these issues would be better discussed privately between families instead of published into a book.
