The pacing, I just can't with it. I had problems with it in the first two volumes as well, but it was especially noticeable in this one. Everything feels like it's happening on fast forward. Characters are declaring love for people they barely even know, it's weird. I enjoy the intense drama of the series, but it definitely needed some serious editing.
As for the characters themselves, I feel like I'm getting to know Georgie, Lowell and Abel a bit more, but not enough for where I currently am in the story. And Arthur has just been completely sidelined, we hardly ever hear or see anything from him.
Personally I'm having a tough time between Abel and Lowell. They both have their own charms, Lowell being very sweet and princely, while Abel is very protective and will literally do anything for Georgie. I wish it was balanced more between them though. Georgie has had zero chance to even consider Abel romantically, her mind has been completely absorbed with Lowell, it makes for a lopsided love triangle.
Hopefully (but doubtfully) the series will fix my issues and end on a high note in these last two volumes.
