Rather than a Rugby League book, this is a peek into a South Auckland Samoan family, and for me the part of the book which dealt directly with this part of the Ropati story was the most interesting. I think it also had the advantage of being written by Iva, whose narrative style is far stronger than some of the other family members who contributed chapters to this book.
