Solid historical survey, easy to read and often quite engaging. The last section deals with specific warlords (Owain of Wales, Jan Žižka, Vlad Dracula, etc) and may be of more immediate interest to certain readers.

This is a quick read on some of the more famous knights and kings of Medieval Europe.

It's a decent enough work, but it's a bit dry, and can be hard to follow at times. There are plenty of illustrations and photos of artifacts littered throughout.
