About the author

Colin Garratt was a railway photographer. He died in November 2018 (Heritage Railway magazine).

Note, that he had the habit publishing photographic albums in which he selected and wrote captions of photographs of other photographers, listing himself as the first author and putting his own name on the spine rather than the photographer who arguably had more of a right to be listed as first author.
