Really enjoyed this collection of Iron Man stories. Lots of appearances from some of my favorite Marvel characters - Rhodey, Scott Lang (Ant-Man), and lots of Iron Man villains ganging up to give Tony Stark trouble throughout. And of course, there's the usual smart-ass and determined Tony I love. His struggle with the damage his tech had done was well done, and gives readers an interesting respite from action, action, action. I'll be picking up the next one in the series ASAP...
Good but not great. The story was a little odd and characterization felt forced. But the art was pretty and it was definitely a fun story. It would have been five stars if it hadn't
Comic for younger readers featuring a reimagined retelling of the classic Iron Man Armor Wars story. There are several silly/ridiculous moments, but it's a decent story overall. The reprints of the original pre-Armor Wars story was nice since it's been a looong time since I read it (and it is so 1980's that it funny). Good book for younger readers or veterans who are tired of the overly dark stories that permeate today's market.
Not bad, but a sort of lame remake of an old story. If you’re going to remake an existing story, you need to do the original justice by making it better, not just new. Good for young readers and those with no desire to read the older comics (that can be overwritten at times, but hold a quality of writing that is just better).
An interesting if quick reboot of the armor wars story line. The art was fine if a bit too digital and I liked the tie in to the original story line that acted as a teaser to read the trade paperback.
