Excellent stories with interesting characters from all backgrounds and many surprise endings. Excellent review of vocabulary and Spanish language concepts for someone at the beginner/intermediate or intermediate level (most likely B1 or B2). We used this book when I went to college, but I'm going through it in more detail now. I will definitely follow up on some of these authors, especially Francisco Jiménez and Julieta Pinto. I wish there were more questions that had answer keys in the back and a greater variety of question types/games as I'm going through this on my own. A minor quibble. Really just a solid short story collection.
