A NOTE ABOUT FRIENDING: I will happily friend you back if you friend me! Goodreads is, after all, about discussing books we both love. I will NEVER self-promote my books to you. And if you self-promote your books to me, no matter how nicely, I'm deleting you off my list. Sorry. Goodreads is about fun, not spam.

A NOTE ABOUT MY REVIEWS: Hey, look at that! Most of my reviews are really positive! This is not me kissing ass - It's because at heart, I am a lazy reader. If I'm not enjoying a book, I don't finish it. I don't review anything I didn't finish, ergo, most of the reviews I put up here are pretty much positive across the board because I finished them and was happy with the story. Makes sense, right?

My favourite book in the series!

Jackie is in trouble again:
-Noah wants her to be his bride
-She has not seen Zane for 6 months while he serves his despicable Queen
-Remy’s inner demon managed to escape
-Noah and Jackie are arrested by the angelic Serim Council which is really far from angelic.

A new adventure start. Jackie will make a deal with an archangel. Not a wise thing...
A new friend and protector will also be added in the action mix. Enforcer Ethan is a big, innocent, virgin Boy Scout who needs to do good deeds, otherwise he suffers.

But the most important thing is that Jackie finds out:
-why Zane change her into a succubi
-what Zane and Noel are obsessed with her

When the big secret comes out, Jackie will feel betrayed BUT she will also have the best opportunity to choose who she really wants.
Zane or Noel?

I don't have time for a proper review just yet, but I LOVED this book! Freaking hilarious and sexy as hell! Oh, and lets not forget Zane. :sigh:

I haven't read the second book yet but it worries me that Zane isn't even mentioned in the small description! :~@

Jackie, a succubus is happy, or as happy as she can be with her lover and vampire/fallen angel Zane out of her life for the past six months. She still has her angel Noah to take care of her sexual needs (she needs to have sex every two days) and almost feels content, as she pursues archaeology with Noah by her side. But Jackie’s life is never stable and soon it starts to fall apart. First Noah proposes marriage – and while Jackie likes Noah, she is not sure she wants to spend the rest of her immortal existence with him. But before she can even process that she finds out the demon Joachim has overtaken her best friend Remy again, and this time he is as powerful as ever. Before she can rush home to help her friend, her and Noah are arrested by the Serim Council for previous misdeeds.

To save herself, Jackie makes a deal with the Serim to bring the halo of power (which Joachim has) back to the council. After she leaves Noah, still imprisoned by the council, by the luck of the draw she finds Zane. Together, along with some new friends, they must track down Remy, save her from her demonic possession, and Jackie must decide between her golden angel Noah, or her dark lover Zane.

My Fair Succubi is book three is Jill Myles’ Succubus Diaries series. I really enjoyed this book. Looking back on this series, I had a rough start with Jackie in Gentlemen Prefer Succubi, but Jackie and this series has really grown on me. Jackie is a lot to take in –and I just think it took a book or two for me to come to appreciate her – but I honestly have no complaints about her in this book. I think Jackie is still the same person as in book one, but the people surrounding her and her growing relationships with them have really endeared her to me.

Jill Myles has done a really great job with the love triangle throughout the series. She keeps it on edge enough so you can’t help but root for both guys, but at the same time, as the events unfold they make sense. As the series has progressed, Jackie has relied on each of them so much, not wanting to be a total slut and knowing that to stay sane, she must scratch her itch every few days. Jackie wants to be a moral succubus, and that means she has to use Noah and Zane. She struggles with her actions and it creates a nice dynamic. The sex scenes are very hot and the book, like the first two takes on a lighter tone. BFF Remy is back with some very funny lines, and a new character Ethan is introduced. A bodyguard type for the Council, he soon switches to Jackie’s side – but he is not quite used to interacting with people - especially a sexual succubus. His awkward demeanor is quite amusing.

Besides the romance, the action in this one is non-stop and we learn a lot of history about Zane, Noah and why Jackie was turned into a succubus. I wasn’t expecting that storyline but it provides a nice conflict between the three of them.

I love how the ending is wrapped up, yet also leaves room for more books. I am very happy we will be seeing more adventures from Jackie. This is definitely a series that grows on you and leaves you with some very memorable characters.

"Again?" Zane growled, the sound nearly inhuman in it's pain. "Again you will take her from me?"

"She's not yours,"
Noah said in a warning voice.

"You can't have her!" roared Zane in a blood-vessel bursting voice. "Not again!"
"I turned you," he said, his voice panting and frantic. "You're mine. My creation. I made you. I turned you so we could be together. I won't loose you again." Zane roared.

The rubber band that held together this amicable love triangle has finally broke, leaving an emotionally charged battle that I found to be the second most painful I've ever read but it was so heated and powerful that couldn't look away.

My favorite in the series, although each book has been excellent so far. I'm obsessed with this world Mrs. Myles has created. I'm shocked that more people have not read this series!

Once again Jackie and her best friend Remy are on another adventure to apprehend the missing Halo for the Archangels. All I can say about this book is that Jackie is one lucky Succubus. She still has her two gorgeous bf's and she gets so much lovin' in this book, that a few times I had to actually close the book and check to see if I was reading a Blackdagger Brotherhood novel, that's how steamy this book was;) Lasting impressions in my mind are a jail cell and a hotel roof (my lips are sealed, it was just that hot). This book makes me wish desperately that I could switch places with Jackie because she makes life as as Succubus sound so tempting;).

" You belong to me" Noah growled. "You are mine."

The last chapter was perfect but I must say that I was on the edge of my seat with anxiety over what was going to take place with Archangel Gabriel, I was actually shed a few tears of empathy with Jackie.

"You must do unpleasant things quickly, Succubus. Bandages must be ripped off with haste in order to spare future pain."

I can't hardly wait for the next book in the series. Although I love me some angelic Noah, my heart still belongs to a Bad Boy named Zane. ;)

Absolute best of the series so far!

I have to say that the sex was incredibly hot. Noah and Jackie in a prison cell ... enough said ;) There was a lot of fighting over Jackie and a very important someone leaves and I hope that he is not gone for good :(

There were definitely quite a few things that I have complaints about, but I'm going to save myself some time and only point out what bothered me the most.

I'm guessing the vampire queen hasn't held her position for so long based solely on her cunning intellect? Why does she continue to trust important tasks to someone who is lacking in the necessary skills or knowledge to make sure that task is complete? Also, I'm a little confused about the "deals" she makes. If I were to approach you on the street and say to you, "Do this task for me, or you die!", would you walk away from our interaction feeling like we made a deal? No? Well, apparently that's how the vampire queen operates. It just doesn't make any sense, just like it didn't make sense when she did it in the first book.

If she can rid herself of the big inconvenience that is Jackie Brighton with a flick of her nail, why wouldn't she just do so? I suppose there wouldn't be much of a story then, but I'm sure you understand the point I am trying to make ;)

There is also Ethan, the big boy scout. The idea of him in the beginning had promise and then he became a little annoying. The eye flashes from performing good deeds was silly, calling Jackie by her full name every time he spoke was irritating, and the remainder of the time he was thrown around ... repeatedly.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who will read this and love him, but I'm not one of them.

Overall, this book was really good as far as this series goes. I hope I don't have to wait a year for the next one to come out :(

'My Fair Succubi' is the third in the Succubus series by Jill Myles. She also wrote two short stories for the series, so I'll say it's book 5.
First off, aren't the cover's for this series just beautiful? This is my favorite cover of the series, although the first cover is scrumptious.
If you have yet to read the previous Succubus Diaries novels, I suggest you read my review for the first novel, 'Gentlemen Prefer Succubi'.

Although this novel is about more that Jackie's love life, that's one of my favorite parts. She has to choose between her maker, the the fallen angel turned vampire bad boy and Noah, her co-maker fallen angel, who may be good, but can be extremely "bad".;)
I can honestly say this book made me extremely happy! I won't say, because that would be giving major spoilers, but let's just say that the choice she made can let me live until book three's release a very happy woman.

The thing I first like about the series was that although she's now a sexy goddess, where men fawn all over her, she doesn't take it for granted..actually, she doesn't like it at all. She tries hard NOT to draw attention to herself, but it's hard not to look at her.

"My waist was amazing, too, curving in more than I’d thought
possible. I was shocked I even had a waist. I blinked and poked the
mirror, wondering if it was a trick of the light. When I passed my
hand in front of it several

Six months ago Jackie Brighton’s life changed both for the better and the worse. She became an immortal, a drop-dead gorgeous succubus, who every few days needs her sexual itch scratched before it grows out of control and she ends up have sex with the first man she sees. But for the moment she has one man who is more than willing to help her. He’s the fallen angel, Noah Gideon, and one of her masters. Her other master, the dark, leather wearing vampire Zane, left Jackie for her own safety. Even though she loves Noah, she misses Zane desperately. While on an archeological dig in the Yucatan Jungle, Noah asks her a very important question that scares her to death. Noah wants forever with only Jackie even after being alive for four thousand years. Jackie isn’t sure about such a commitment since she still has unresolved feelings for Zane. Noah is devastated by her response, and before Jackie can explain to him, they are both placed under arrest by the angelic Serim Council.

Jackie may be put to death and Noah punished for their actions. But, Jackie is given a way out when the archangel Gabriel makes a pact with her. Gabriel wants a halo that holds an incredible amount of power from a former archangel. This archangel is Joachim, whose spirit has possessed Jackie’s porn actress, succubus, best friend Remy. This is a way for Jackie to save Remy and possibly herself and Noah.

Along with Ethan, a seven foot virgin council enforcer who’s Jackie’s backup, they venture into the dangerous vampire underworld where the Queen of the vampires is holding Zane, who must do her every bidding. Now Jackie has to figure out how to free Zane from the Queen’s clutches, as well as save the world from both power hungry angels and vampires, and keep her itch from eating her alive. And let’s not forget the love triangle Jackie finds herself in between Noah and Zane, who may have been using her all along to replace someone they lost in both their distant pasts

Where do I start with My Fair Succubi (Succubus Diaries, Book #3)? This third book by Jill Myles is rip-roaring hilarious. Jill raises things up a notch as Jackie navigates the supernatural world in her own endearing, bumbling way. Jackie has come into her own in this book, and she takes the bull by the horns to speak. This time she’s in control and refuses to be pushed around. Even when it comes to her succubus itch, she decides who she’ll be with.

I cannot tell you the number of times I laughed while reading My Fair Succubi. Jill has really grown as a writer. The action is kept up at a fast pace, the dialogue is crisp and the sex scenes are very risqué and naughty. There’s one scene where Jackie needs to pleasure herself because she’s waited so long to have sex. And since she’s in a tough place at the moment, she turns to Zane, who gives her a helping hand, so to speak, where my own eyes bugged out because I’d never read such a thing before. But it works perfectly, and may just be one of the steamiest sex scenes I’ve read all year.

Jill introduces us to Ethan, a sweet heroic warrior, who is like a fish out of water when it comes to Jackie. He becomes as important to the story as Noah and Zane are. I’ve placed my claim on Ethan, so move along. And when it comes to both Noah and Zane, there’s a twist that you won’t see coming that will leave the reader stunned as Jackie was.

My Fair Succubi is an overall fun read that I would recommend to anyone. This is one book that has a great combination of laughs, and adorable characters with enough steamy passion around every corner for any romance genre enthusiast.

***SPOILER ALERT****

This has the best story in the series so far. The ending was quite conclusive, but it still opened more possibilities of more books to come. I loved how the lust between Jackie and Zane turned to love; Jill Myles really highlighted and recapped some scenes from the first two books and it worked for me.

Finally, Jackie went to the dig with Noah in Mexico, all is well until he drops the bomb again - he's proposing, he wants to claim her, but of course our dear suck is just not ready for a lifetime commitment - literally. She's just enjoying her "infanthood" and hasn't given up her humanity, and again, Noah was an ass in pressuring and playing the guilt card when in truth, he wasn't completely honest with her. Things happen, all the mayhem one could think of, until Jackie is way too deep in deals, I loved the way she uses those deals to her advantage.

Through Jackie's perspective, Noah is more of a protector, someone possessive and dominant, but not in a good way. I hate how he always uses the Master compulsion when he uses the direct command. Jackie, being a succubus, couldn't resist him whenever he apologizes or tries to explain because he's good at manipulating.

Looking back at the other books, though Zane has always been on the shady side, everything he did involves Jackie's wellbeing. Zane always appeared as the bad guy, but he always redeems himself with a blast. As I read the update about him after 6 months of separation, I realized his intentions about Jackie were good and my heart melted when he mentioned he loved her.

I hate to spoil this (hey I put the alert) but finally, the "thing" that draws Noah and Zane was explained her and it explained a whole lot since their rivalry was rooted like four centuries ago - because of a woman, who surprisingly looks like Jackie.
While Noah sees Rachael the shepherdess in Jackie, Zane fell in love with Jackie as herself, not some double. I positively swooned at the scene, and I felt the romance here - Jackie was willing to let Zane go (like ask a boon to go back in time), and Zane wants to endure pain just to touch/kiss/make love to her.

His words were heartfelt and I was touched. I have to admit they aren't quite original but the sincerity in them, Ms Myles was able to put the voice in there. He never used the command as a master to Jackie's detriment, and I felt his regret in turning her. It had a deep impact and though I don't care about him before, I love Zane now, he and Jackie were meant to be together.

I simply loved this book, the humor is there, the tension, conflict, and of course the sizzling hot sex.

This is the third book in the Succubi Diaries series and the best so far. In fact, I hope that it's not the end of series given that the ending seems to hint that might be one if not two more to come.

The story finds both Jackie and one of her lovers, the serim Noah, deep in an archaeological dig when they are hauled up before the serim council charged with bad things that happened in the previous book.

The trial, though, is a farce and it's not long before Jackie escapes with the help of a serim enforcer and goes on the hunt for her friend and other succubus, Remy who has once again been possessed by Joachim.

In keeping with the previous books, Jackie not only has to contend with danger from all sides but also has to keep her Itch in check by ensuring that she has an orgasm every two days. Whilst the sex is frequent, hot and passionate there are also emotional scenes as we learn why Jackie was turned into a succubus in the first place (the how of it was done in Foreplay, but the why wasn't explained) and why Noah and Zane both want to have Jackie for themselves.

Only a couple of things irked me about this book is that whilst Jill Myles can do evil very well in terms of vampires, the vampire queen, Luc the warlock and Joachim, the supposed good side in the form of the archangel Gabriel and the serim don't come across as being on the side of good at all. But then, I guess, if they did, they would outshine Jackie and Remy so it's understandable from that point of view.

The other is that Jackie herself tries to stand up for herself and be a strong, wilful succubus but she practically crumbles when Noah touches her. Noah himself turns out to be a bit of an arrogant, self-righteous, controlling busy body in this story as well.

However, none of those reasons are sufficient for me to knock of any stars as I thoroughly enjoyed the story and kept me reading to the end with the thoughts of "just one more chapter, then I'll go to bed." Here's hoping the series continues!

This review was originally posted at Vampire Book Club.

Note: If you have not read the previous Succubus Diaries novels, we suggest you read our review for the first novel Gentlemen Prefer Succubi as we’ll be including spoilers from the previous novels in this review. However, if you’ve read books one and two, read on, it’s spoiler-free for book 3.

When it comes to the Noah versus Zane debate, I come down firmly on the side of the vampire. Yes, this could be that I tend to like those undead creatures of the night. It’s more likely that fallen angel Noah is a little too noble for me. Give me the dark, snarky man instead. So, My Fair Succubi gave me what I needed — Jackie and Zane together.

Of course, if you remember the end of Succubi Like It Hot, you know those two together isn’t going to be easy. The guys wanted her to choose, and Zane took himself out of the running to protect Jackie from the queen. Well, now the queen is in need of Jackie’s help yet again. She wants her first in command, Zane, to help, but forbids him from touching Jackie.

This time out we get feverish sexual tension, nearly every character in peril, Joachim being especially problematic, the reappearance of jailbait succubus Delilah and — oh yeah — she’ll end up with either Noah or Zane by the end of the book. Really.

Again, Jill Myles has given us a fun book with a strong thread to tug you through the novel at a rapid pace. Between the mounting relationship tension and some strong new secondary characters, we can promise you’ll be pleased with this latest release in the Succubus Diaries series.

Sexual content: Duh. Adults only, folks.

I almost give this book 1-star only. Honestly, to me, this is one of the hardest books in concept I ever read.

Don't get mistaken. I love new rebellious concepts against the classic values, even the wild ones. Like demons with virtues, treacherous angels, even pinning up angels as bad guys and martyrize a demon, truly, I have no problem at all with that.

But Noah, being a Serim, a Fallen because of his lust, suddenly becoming so possessive with Jackie, the succubus? And the concept was a succubus is created by two masters? This contradiction is pushing too far for me. How many succubi he has turned so far along with other masters? Noah should have known better. Proposing her? This is way too far. And the fact that Jackie as a succubus was actually bi-gamous with only two guys for her need, I was under the impression that Jackie was only a sex slave to her own lust and masters. She didn't have any 'duties' to signify her existence as sex demon, despite of her role as a succubus, notoriously known as The Seducer of Men.

I could understand if Myles chose not to elaborate anything about this in the first and second books, because I saw Jackie's quite busy adapting her new self while solving big problems exploding around her at the same time. But I think Jackie here was missing her existence as a demon.

What can I do. I'm just a reader, and unfortunately unlike other people pleased with Myles' work, this time I didn't. I'm a writer myself and I honor Myles' perspective and it was all her right to build her plots.

This book is not for me. I spent months just to finish this one (because I hate not finishing what I've started), occassionally forcing myself reading it again and again between other books.

I really thought this was going to be a boring book when it first started out. I am not a Noah fan, and having Noah and Jackie, happy on a dig in Mexico, with no Zane or Remy, can we say boring!! Well, I am glad to say things didn't stay boring for long!!

Noah being Noah is always wanting more from Jackie and asks for too much. Remy being Remy her life quickly morphs into a disaster of epic proportions, Joachim is back, and of course everyone wants him.

Jackie once again finds herself smack in the middle of a brand new CF, one where she seems to dig herself deeper. The Angels are back and are blackmailing her into helping them, and that is the best of the situation. The vampire Queen also wants Jackie's help, she wants the halo for herself and throws Jackie a bone.

Jackie finds herself in some very strange company going after the halo. Along the way she discovers secrets that cause her to question the men in her life, learns more about the angels and their world, and finally has to choose between the guys. It seems like she can't choose, or won't make a choice again, but with an answer to a question she very clearing makes her choice.

Of course all things end on a semi-happy state, but those angels being sneaky deal makers, point out just what exactly Jackie agreed to with her bargain, letting us know there will be lots for more adventures for Jackie and her crew. I only hope that the new addition will be sticking around because he was fun especially with who he ended up with.

Being a succubus is never boring. Just ask…Jackie Brighton. Jackie and Noah are enjoying a nice evening together, when they are interrupted. The Serim council has summons Jackie and Noah to appear before them. Jackie is being charged with immortal behavior. Jackie is in big trouble. The charges against her spell…death. The only way Jackie can escape death is to destroy her friend and fellow succubus, Remy.

It seems that Remy has been possessed by Joachim. Joachim is a powerful archangel. Gabriel wants the halo as it contains the power. If Jackie brings him the halo than she will be spared her life. The one good thing to come out of all this is that Jackie is reunited with her creator, Zane.

My Fair Succubi is book three in The Succubus Diaries. If you have not read this series yet than you have got to check it out and start with Gentlemen Prefer Succubi. Jackie is my favorite succubus. She is sassy, not afraid to speak her mind and looks good in anything she wears. I adore both Noah and Zane. It is easy to see why Jackie fell for both men. Noah is a gentleman whereas; Zane has total sex appeal about him. He is definitely the bad boy of the two men. Though I like both men, I do believe that Jackie made the right choice in who she wants to spend her life with. There were many funny moments to be had in this book. My Fair Succubi is a bewitching, fangtastic, angelic, rip-roaring good time!

This is such a fun series. Jackie and her men are hot, hot, hot...and since she's a succubus, yes there is more than one man. She gets a daytime lover, Noah, and her nighttime lover, Zane. Zane and Noah aren't too fond of each other, and there is a reason why other than Jackie, which we find out in this book.

While nothing blows me away about the Succubus Diaries, there is just something refreshing about the way that Jill Myles writes. Each of her characters is unique, each has their own little quirks. They all come together nicely, and while a lot of author's world building tends to get convoluted and confusing, Myles is easy to follow. And I just LIKE everyone! Jackie is a moral succubus, Noah and Zane are both great guys, and a new character, Evan, is a nephilim who gets his power from doing good deeds. What's not to love? The man gains power from CLEANING HOUSE!!!! Even the bad guys, for the most part, aren't horribly evil. Well...except the vampire queen. She's a nasty piece of work.

The love triangle between Jackie and her angel and vampire comes to a head here, and I've got to say that it's a bit heartbreaking. I constantly switch back and forth on who I love the most, and I just knew I'd have issues with whoever got left behind. Well, now I know. I have issues. Buuuuut, there are many many places for this story to go, and the man left behind in this book still has a chance, I think, to be there for Jackie at the end.

Third in the series and I finally have an opinion...I'm not sure I like What's-Her-Name...exactly I can barely remember her name....Jackie. For the most part, she's a forgettable character but when she's not, she's a little ditzy and self-absorbed. She's not believable as an archaeologist and she lacks the ability to see the big picture. Jackie is surprised by Remy's ability to compartmentalize and put aside all the bad things that happen to her, however, Jackie is actually much better at this. The bad luck she's brought to her friends and the far reaching consequences of her mistakes don't weigh her down nearly as much as her own romantic problems. She's so busy obsessing over the two men in her life that most of the time she misses the obvious, that she was single before she met them, she didn't really choose them as romantic interests and she can have anyone else she likes. I suspect I'm supposed to admire her for her decision not to be a slut but honestly, it would probably be better for her and everyone else in her life if she were less prudish which makes it seem more idiotic than admirable.

This is by far my favorite book in the series. Jackie is finally forced to choose between her Serim and vampire masters. Didn't happen the way I expected but I'm glad it happened the way it did. This book finishes up the Joachim storyline which thrilled me and showed what complete manipulative dicks the angels are. Can't wait to see what happens between Jackie and the master that won her heart. The addition of the Nephalim, Ethan, was lots of fun. I would love to see a novella from his perspective to show how he feels about Remy, porn star succubus extraordinare. Remy would eat poor innocent Ethan alive. I loved, loved, loved this book. Only downside is having to wait for the next installment. The Succubus Diaries rocks and quickly became one of my favorite series. Once you get started you won't wanna stop. I read the series, including two novellas in a week. I highly recommed this series. It's incredibly funny, erotic and action packed.

I usually don't do reviews for books that are later in a series. Why? Nothing I say will make you pick up this book, you might be interested in starting the series but usually a reader doesn't just decide to pick up book 3 in a series when they haven't read it before. Likewise, if you stopped reading the books in the series, nothing will convince you to start the series back up again.

On that note, I have to give props to Jill Myles. 1) her books are getting better as the series moves along. My ratings are getting harder as I become more judgemental and cynical so even though I rated book 1 and 2 highly, book 3 is actually the best of the bunch. 2) Her books are funny. I laugh out loud (no you don't get me to do a "lol"). I like when a funny book is actually funny.

Nuff said!

*happy dancing**happy dancing* I can't explain my happy dancing without giving away major plot points in the book, and we all hate spoilers. Let's just say a solid choice was made, and I am very very happy with the choice! I think this is my favorite book by Jill Myles, so far. Ms. Myles has a beautiful way of writing that sucks you into each and every page. I would also like to add that I heart Ethan. He is adorable and sexy, even if a tad misguided.

I was drawn into this book from page one and at no point did I want to stop reading. I love this series; I love Jill Myles, and I love the hot sex she somehow gets to seep from the pages of the books she writes. This book was one of those bubble bath, relax, drink wine kind of books and I seriously needed it. Perfect.

Another great addition to the Succubus Diaries series. I've been waiting and waiting for what seems like forever for this one and it did not disappoint. I really love all the characters, Jackie, Zane and Noah. I so torn as to who Jackie should choose because both vamp and angel had some damn fine capabilities...if you know what I mean!!! And when the decision seems to be made I felt so damn bad for the one who left...
I loved this book...get out there and pick it up if you haven't already!!
Highly recommend!!!

Hmm, i think i like it? It was waaay better then book #2, (book two was a huge disappointment, btw, compared to book one) At least i loved the ending! And Jackie did the two things i was hoping she would do: She finally choose between Noah and Zane, and she became as independent woman and selfless as Jackie can be, which was a huge step up for her! I did enjoy reading this book, and im looking forward to read book #4:)

Rate: 3.5 stars.

New City, Wyoming. It's the place of residence of Succubi, Fallen Angels and Vamps. This has got to be the best of the Succubi stories. My emotions were all over the place with this story, I laughed, cried, my heart broke for the heroine and I was just sad that the story ended. I like the end of the story, just did want it to end.

Love, love the mixture of smexiness and snark! Jackie is a great character, and her personality and chemistry with the "boys" aka Noah and Zane makes the books. Love the introduction of the character of Ethan.

I'm not totally thrilled with the way angels are handled, but I'll forgive Jill since the book is so funny, adventurous, and hot!

Best of the series so far. Ethan totally needs his own spinoff, LOVED him :)

And thank heavens Jackie finally made her choice. I'm quite happy with who she chose, I just hope it sticks. Although she does say so and so is gone "for now", it leads me to believe said so and so will be back and we will be wrapped up in the triangle again. Blast!

Without a doubt the best book in the series so far!!!
Great character development, lots of revelations about Noah, Zane and Jackie's involvement with the two of them. Remy is finally sane and safe again(or as sane as she was before.) And we have a great addition to the cast with the arrival of Ethan. Great story!!

Jill Myles does it again!!! What an amazing book!!! I do believe this is my favorite out of the series so far (following close is Zane's Tale). Now it's time to play the waiting game for the next to come out.

DNF at 20.5%.

The reasons I absolutely hated this book, can be explained thusly:

1. Horny beyond all reason (or plot).

2. Absurdly two-dimensional characters

3. Really insane use of religious and mythological characters, including angels. Especially angels.

4. Plotting that made absolutely zero sense

5. An endless parade of creepy, patronizing, macho male characters and a female main character tasked with dealing with them

Throw in a scene of attempted sexual assault and a comically injudicious trial, and you've got an all-around disaster on your hands. One that I decided to DNF at the 20.5% mark, which meant I had only made it about 70 pages in.

The main character was actually okay; it was just that, as a Succubus, she suffered a bit from the frustrating "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" Jessica-Rabbit-style lack of respect, specifically due to sex appeal being her defining trait. Everyone was constantly trying to jump this girl, through no real intention of her own, and she was just expected to cope with it being a byproduct of her nature. Moreover, one of her love interests - a fallen angel named Noah - was very unable to not get jealous over it, and deliberately slut-shamed her multiple times in the scant 70 pages I knew him.

I never even got to meet the second point in the love triangle - a vampire named Zane - because of how early I decided to bail. He never even factored into the equation, other than to serve as a point of weird angst for Noah.

I hated how bizarrely patriarchal, unequal, unfair, and misogynistic the angels were. I hated how the mythology in the narrative made absolutely no sense, in the relationships between Succubi, vampires, angels, and more. I hated that the plot seemed determined to punish the main character for some reason that was never explained, constantly throwing her in the way of ever-present, specifically-male threats. I hated that out of the 70 pages I read, at least nine of them had to be sex scene-related.

All in all, I hated it. So I stopped reading.

PS. The previous two installments in this series were titled Gentlemen Prefer Succubi and Succubi Like it Hot. Don't ask me why they switched from Marilyn to Audrey for the third title. The trend does not continue on in the series.

I wanted to rant about the never-ending series again but I just found out this book is the last but one in the series. That is nice to know. It gives the right amount of commitment. Not too short to cry you will never see your favorite characters again, but not too long to actually start to hate them.
The series tell a story about a very mundane museum worker whose thrill is ... ehm... old things. And suddenly she is brought over to a different world which change her appearance to become a succubus (yup, that's exactly what you think it is) and on the top of it all she is torn between two very sexy males - both fallen angels. One can be awake only during the day and one who turned to the dark side for the cookies and became a vampire so he can be awake only at night. That sounds ok as far as the relationships in menage a trois go, right? The two dudes can never meet - ok, they can but only for a very short period of time, so it sounds safe.
Add in some really pissed off vampire queens, tricky archangels and very old secrets which bring nice twists and you have a quite relaxing read. If you don't catch on fire during those hot scenes which are abundant in the book - well, why put in succubi if you don't plan on telling what their purpose is.
