not consistent

Disappointed in this one. Several mistakes were made that didn’t follow the first two books. Example, in book 1 Justice the Vampire turns into a wolf, he is smaller then Maggie the dire wolf but about the same size as Hicks wolf, in book 3 it says Justice had never turned into a wolf 🤦🏼‍♀️ there were other inconsistencies that were frustrating to read. Follow the story line! Stick with and backup what’s already been written.

Can we just finish the whole story in 1 long book rather than short novellas?

See above. This continuing never ending is annoying. I like the book quick read but would like the series to come to a conclusion. Not go on and on.

I loved it!

It was so enticing that I couldn’t put it down, this book grabbed my interest from the very first page. I had to know what happened next. The story is well written with a very good storyline. Welcome to the Paranormal Mercenary Corps. Chelby and her team think their troubles with Sector Nine are behind them, well they’re wrong. Chelby gets a mysterious text from someone named Moon who claims to be a spy inside Sector Nine and she claims there’s a spy in the Paranormal Mercenary Corp, someone they would least expect. The spy could be one of Chelby’s closest friends. Now she doesn’t know who to trust, when trust is what she needs to fight Sector Nine’s next move. What happened in the secret lab in Scotland? But time is running out for her friends.
Chelby can’t do this alone. She needs to trust someone, but who? So with all that and more this story pulls you in and holds you tight. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I highly recommend to everyone.

Three books in and stil a page turner, Chelby now has shifting down, is learning to harness her powers, finds they have spies buried within the group, gets framed for murder and oh yea, finds she has a new enemy in the field.
A Dragon!
I look forward to seeing how this develops and if Chelby decides on a love interest, Jonas or Brody, both keep trying but getting no where as the stakes get higher.

Sigh

I want to like this series but each book is getting worse.

Namely this one had the problem of the author giving information then the characters forgetting it or being annoyingly stupid. At one point the fmc goes the vampire hasn’t yet been able to shift into a wolf with ease like his bat. Yet in the first book it was the literal opposite. This was known to everyone so it was annoying because either it was a mistake or since he was being impersonated it was meant as a clue but if so then the other characters are idiots because they should have known immediately.

That wasn’t the only mistake like that in this book and it irked me. Added to that everything that’s happening is so obvious and cliche.

This one ends with “a new powerful enemy that’s a dragon” there’s one dragon who was in the beginning that position would be threatened by a more powerful being. Sorry but it’s totally obvious who it is, this entire drawn out story is becoming obvious.

It had dragons and other mythical creatures I wanted to like these but I am literally just disappointed.

After the events is Scotland, Chelby is dealing with the fact that she is a purple dragon and survived a silverstar arrow. There is also the fact that some of her team members are acting very strangely. She’s also receiving text messages from someone named Moon who claims there is a spy in the PMC.
When other strange things happen, friends who all of a sudden snap and when stopped go into a coma leading to possible death.
Warned to trust no one, Chelby trusts Jonas and Brody to begin with then adds a couple of more to the group.
One thing that is discovered is that another dragon is involved but no one knows who.
There is a fair amount of action, mystery, suspense, surprise and humour.
Chelby shows her immaturity at times by not listening to anyone, just doing her own thing even if it somehow works out at times.
There is a growing bond between Jonas, Brody and Chelby – not sure who will be the romantic pair yet.
It’s a fairly light, quick enjoyable read.
There are definitely more answers to come and definitely need to read the next book.

Better

...marginally. At one point our heroine reflects on her love for her teammates and it's annoying because Brody hasn't been around for very long. Chelby is still charging ahead without proper thought and doesn't seem to ever learn that lesson. Also, while I applaud the lack of indiscriminate killing, there are so many obscure motivations pouring through this story, it seriously hinders my enjoyment. Because MA is in this I'll keep reading and hoping for more, but this is my least favorite collaboration so far.

Book 3 In the CUPID series

Mary Guida and Michael Anderle continue their Paranormal Mercenary Corps; Mission CUPID in book three. Chelsy is back from Scotland and things are a mess between her and some of her team mates Sheis blamed for the death of Hicks even though she tried her best to save them all. A great continuing series if you like dragons, elementals, and other supernatural characters

Book number three in the series continues the adventures of Chelby and her team, one a fae, another a vampire another an orc, and still another a dire wolf shifter … Did I mention the Director of the facility is a dragon shifter. Section 9 continues its efforts to stop them and there are fatalities on both sides. It is difficult to tell who his friend and who is full and who to trust. On to the fourth book!

Wow! Even Better Than Expected

I really liked the first two books in the series. I was pleased that there was no letdown in the story telling. The book starts off with a significant downturn in Chelby’s team that gets worse as the story progresses. Slowly, the team rebuilds and sets out on a dangerous mission to right the many wrongs of Sector Nine. Excellent story telling while expanding the core characters of the story.

Teams in trouble

Since Chelby and her team came back from Scotland everyone has been acting strange and it's up to Chelby to figure out what is going on. There are a few twists and turns in this book and a couple surprises. Quite a few opens ends were figured out and now there is a new enemy to identify. I am looking forward to the next book to find out who it is.

Fantastic series; exciting, entertaining and very enjoyable!!!!

Congratulations to M. Guida and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

This was an ok book and story line. Like many of the books in this genre/shared world, it was quick to ready with a long and arduous story line that ends quickly and decisively. Entertaining and worth the price as a Kindle Unlimited option. I wish these had more depth but appreciate authors using Kindle Unlimited.

The plot thickens

Chelby has enemies, that’s a given. It is becoming clear that it’s not only Section Nine that wants her, another someone has shown up and wants to cause her more harm, further down the rabbit hole trying to find out who.

Chelby must determine who is real and who fake! She must also find an antidote for those in a coma.

Chelby's family are and teammates are falling into comas or are being captured and the skies are glamouring themselves to look like whom they are replacing.

The excitement continues.

Plenty of action with assassins, fae, Sector Nine and numerous imposters all working to target Chelby. Now she has the military and FBI after her as well as a mysterious pissed off dragon.

Blur

Ever see something move so fast it becomes blurred? That's this book. It's got great battles and sneaky espionage. It has betrayal and romance. It just moves so fast it becomes a blur.
