[Menage Amour ManLove: Erotic Alternative Paranormal Ménage a Trois Romance, M/M/M, werewolves]
Daniel James, required by his alpha to attend a wolf council meeting at Vourdala Island, never expects to run into his mate, Brom McGregor. Several years ago, Brom kicked him out of their pack, saying he would never mate him, that he didn't love Daniel. Running into Brom is almost more than he can handle when Daniel knows he still loves the man.
Brom McGregor is shocked to see Daniel, the man he's always loved and never forgotten. He's even more shocked when his own jealousy makes him claim Daniel as his mate, especially since Brom is already married with two small children. To add to Brom's problems, there's a third mate, Jaryn, whom Daniel doesn't even know about, someone that Brom has spent their years apart protecting.
Faced with a hunt to the death ordered by his father because he mated Daniel, Brom is forced to flee with his two small children and Jaryn. The only place he can think to go is to Daniel. Can he convince Daniel that he sent him away all those years ago to save his life even knowing that he's putting Daniel in danger again? Will Daniel forgive him in time to save Jaryn's life?
About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

I really like this series. Daniel James is a member of the Wolfrik Pack were Jake is the Alpha. Daniel accompanies his Alpha and pack members to Vourdala Island, an isolated retreat for shifters, where the next Wolf Council meeting is being held. Unfortunately, he sees Brom McGregor has also attended the meeting. Brom is his mate. Everybody has a mate, and werewolves can recognize their mate upon sight. They experience intense attraction and arousal, and everything about their mate (physical, emotional, mental) attracts them. The universe has made this person just for you, and that person is perfect for you and you know it. The problem was that Brom turned him away years ago while they were members of the same pack. He denied Daniel and made him leave, telling him he would never claim him or love him. Daniel carries the pain of knowing that his own mate wants no part of him, and that's virtually unheard of in werewolf society. Brom McGregor has his own problems he had a reason for sending Daniel away. Brom's father is the alpha of their pack, and he's homophobic. He declared that there would be a hunt on the two of them unless he sent Daniel away. There's a very good reason why Brom couldn't leave with Daniel, their other mate Jaryn was underage. With all of this going the women he is forced to marry is sleeping with his father. This was a really good book and I enjoy reading this series. This book was well written. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
Like the previous four volumes in this series, I loved Unspoken Desires. These wolf shifters with their mating bonds that make them suffer before they can finally sort themselves out just get to me - in a good way!
Brom, Daniel and Jaryn are no different. Brom loves Daniel and Jaryn too much to endanger them and so he does everything, even marry a woman, to keep them safe from his alpha father. Daniel thinks Brom rejected him and lives in misery, not knowig why Brom sent him away and unaware of their third mate. Jaryn suffers because he can't mate with Brom without endangering his life and because he's never even met Daniel.
Wonderfully complicated, full of emotions and scorching hot when they do let their instincts emerge - mating bonds are trump in this series and this volume is no exception.
I've read so darn many of Stormy's books now that I'm running out of what to say on them. One thing I do know is that I never get bored of her Tri-Omega series. Every one I read seems new and fresh and not that same run of the mill type of story that's repeats it's self over and over and the song remains the same.
All of the wolf packs are going for some kind of confab and this includes Daniel from book 1. They get to the island retreat (book 3) and he sees his mate who rejected him 5 years ago and forced him to leave his pack. His mate Brom is now married with a two small kids. He approaches Daniel and there is the same “I told you to leave to save your ass and kept why a secret” thing going on but the truth comes out a bit sooner. There is also 19 year old Jaryn whom Brom recognized as their third mate and has been protecting from his highly homophobic pack and his father. His Dad’s basically a giant dick and his wife is sleeping with her FIL. Ewwwwww. After he mates Daniel he grabs the kids and Jaryn and asks for asylum and they have to go before the Council to petition for the kids. I found some major errors here including one where they said Micah’s special talent was A and I literally yelled out “No that’s wrong!” (to my daughter’s dismay) because it was Cary’s talent. There were other less egregious errors but that one stood out. ALL of the characters from the other books were in this one and from time to time I had trouble keeping them all straight there were 5 sets of tri-mates and one set of two and 5 kids. So when they were all together it was a bit confusing for me.
So if you like Doritos and menage and wolves and are in the mood to let some editing stuff just slide by, they are okay reads. I wouldn’t scream “run out and buy these now!” but if you happen upon them, they are typical Stormy Glenn and okay reads.
One of the first things immediately noticeable about this fifth book in the Tri-Omega Mates series, is the length of the story. It is, by far, the longest yet, although I cheated and looked and the next two books are even longer. I liked that because I really think the story was more developed due to the overall number of pages.
My heart really hurt for Daniel in the beginning. How horrible to feel as if your mate didn't want you, would never claim you, and had never loved you. I was irritated with Brom because of all of this turmoil until Jaryn entered the picture and the real reasons behind Brom's actions came to light. It still didn't leave me feeling any more generous toward Brom for quite a while, though. Brom's father, Angus, was a real piece of work and once he entered the scene it was a lot easier to forgive Brom for his decisions.
Watching these three men discover their bond was a lot of fun and very hot. Watching them be parents to their two little boys was even better! The intensity of the story ratcheted up when Brom goes against his father by mating both men. Angus demands the cubs back and they go in front of the Wolf Council for a decision. Of course, Angus had a lot of tricks up his sleeve which made it pretty exciting to read.
This was a great addition to the series because it introduced new people, new packs, and possible new story lines. It was definitely a little different than the other plots have been which provided for great variety and kept everything fresh. I recommend the book and the series.
NOTE: This book was provided by Siren Publishing for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews.
Despite my review, I did like this book and found it an entertaining read. I was just slightly put of by the many mistakes (I read the 3 books in a row) something that I'm not quite used to by this author.
While I like a number of Stormy Glenn's books, the Tri Omega series seems to be riddles with more plot mistakes than an average cheese grater. The series has a lot of potential (with very likable characters and an interesting angle on mates) but it almost seems as if the series was hastened. There are so many (plot)mistakes, especially in the last two books. Switched names, spelling/grammar errors, plot holes, circular narrative and many miscommunications. These guys seem to fail miserably in communication by just assuming stuff. While okay of one character it is a recurrent theme.
I really do hope the next books are going to be better now that a new plot angle has been introduced.
Mini Review: Ms. Glenn is consistent with her character development, almost too much so. Her formula showing through. This series is still a feel good read for me, and will remain in my library but the frequency of the pleasure re-reading will be dramatically less than my favored novels.
typical stormy glenn romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical stormy glenn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
laziness dictates i will use this as my template for all books by the following authors unless a book is remarkably good/bad : stormy glenn lynn hagen scarlet hyacinth joyee flynn carol lynne gabrielle evans
This latest book in the Tri-Omega Mates series is fast paced and entertaining. The writing is solid, the characters appealing and overall I found it an easy read with a very nice HEA ending for Brom and his mates.
Re-read and review: 02/09/2020 This was slightly better than the previous (minus Lupine Lover that is the better in this series) but my expectation already are in the low side so anything is a improvement. One trope in romance that i like very much is second chance couples and that is the plot in this maybe it's because that i liked more... Stormy pretty much worked Brom and Daniel as a couple but i think that Jaryn was forgotten in the book.. He shows very little and doesn't have much as a voice like Brom or Daniel. There are less sex scene and more plot what actually helped the book... Who would know? Now i will tell again about the enemy of Ms. Glenn: The Lore. Again a couple identifies as mates without and before the tri-omega so why the hell Jake and Lucas don't recognize a mate in each other? This makes me crazy! I hate holes in plot and lore. The formula isn't all there here so it's okay too. Look, i was nice for once :) This was the last one that i read in 2011 so i will stopped here my torture ops... re-read. Ps. I don't know what a hell was in my head in 2011 to read that in Christmas day.
5 stars. Yet another great story in this series. This one is filled with twists and turns of the plot, there are a lot of details that are gradually unveiled as the story goes. The seemingly simple at first problem in the original relationship between Daniel and Brom is actually something very complex, messed up and dangerous not only for them but also for those close to them, their dear ones.
I like how this book is full of action. Fighting circumstances and life threating obstacles is what shows the strength of will and of heart. What's different in this part is also that all of the characters from the previous books (1-4) and My Lupine Lover are mentioned or appear with quite a few of them being integral to this story. It illustrates very good the general unity, how all of them act together and stand up for those that might be in mortal danger. Of course, with having so many characters from 5 earlier books in this one led to a couple of mix ups (i.e. the mentioning all of tri-omegas and their abilities), or just the occasional mix up of the names in a line. But that's technical work with the text, which depends not only from the author. It would be wonderful if the beta-reading and editing for Stormy Glenn's books would be done by someone who really knows the previous stories.
I can't wait for the next installment in these series, especially since Stormy Glenn mentioned such wonderful ideas or possible hints for the future book(s) - the question about the general growing number of tri-omegas and the possible location for the next installment and that's completely far away from where all the previous tri-omega stories took place before (won't tell you what country it is, but I'm more than excited).
**4.5** I think this is my favourite book in the series. I loved having all the triads present and interacting so we could see how similar but still how different the tri-omegas really are. I loved Brom and Daniel, they're a sweet couple, and add in Jaryn and you have another perfect tri-mating. Add some sweet little cubs and it's the perfect little family.
This book seemed to have more angst and pain than the others, except maybe the last one, and the plot flowed and kept me wanting more. One of the differences in my opinion was that there wasn't as much sex, or maybe I'm wrong in remembering that, but I just feel like as much as I like Stormy's sex scenes, this one had just the right amount. And I have to say that I thought Jaryn got ripped off with his tri-omega ability until that emotional scene near the end when he tied Ryland and Gregory's links back together - that was a very heart-wrenching and beautiful scene. I'm going to miss this series - I think this is the last one - but I'm really happy it ended with such a great book.

I liked this about as well as the previous 4 but what really bumped it up for me was that 1) all the Tri-omega's abilities were finally stated/explained and 2) fairly spoilery spoiler . That second one really made this a better read for me. Otherwise, it was much of the same with an extra does or five of family drama and homophobia.
This story was much better than the two previous ones. I loved the plot because it was believable and the characters weren't morons. I really like Jaryn and his ability to see mating bonds was pretty cool. However, I felt Angus' punishment for all the horrible things he did to Brom was laughable. Seriously? A 5 year restraining order? Plaheeaseee.

I was expecting a little angst with three complicated men with complicated feelings. I got a simple romantic story instead despite all the good ingredients. Can't say I'm not disappointed. Perhaps some more explanations were in order. A little more floundering. Just more...of everything. It was all done so easily it wasn't even funny.

Excellent it was just as great as the first four and I loved it and can't wait to read the next book in this series and I will be reading it next and I really can't wait....
This story brings the 3 Wolf Packs back together again and gives Daniel his HEA. It also ties up some loose ends whilst introducing a new character and a new story line.
