This was a hard read, and I admit, I had to skim read some of this even, it was just... ugh...

This book claimed it was midwifery, a textbook, and in the UK, this disappoints me the most.
The midwifery book should claim they are MEDwifery, and that they are here to teach you from a medical point.

It got really bad when they had the nerve to mention that alternatives are dangerous and aren't recommended. How about keeping all options open?

This is a dangerous book for those wanting to learn midwifery.

This book was invaluable when I was a student midwife. It was ideal to refer to after lectures and whilst writing assignments. I highly recommend.

Hard work in places, very readable in places. Some good further recommendations to increase my knowledge.
