I'm usually not fan of short stories but I really like these ones. Why?
Let's start with saying that each story starts, develops the theme and ends keeping continuity not only with itself but overall for whole book where you realize that Velky Guslar is place where everything is possible.
Authors sense of humor which translates through the characters is kind even though you can feel the edge of it:-) characters, mainly Kornelius Udalov are believable and realistic with their task in life of the city where aliens land almost everyday, were love poitions are like medications and wizards can still chant you up:-)
Each of stories is not to long of short, depicting one area at the time to bring more smile into everyday life.
Even I love stories about Alice I was bit worried if I would like this tiny book and wasn't disappointed - it's definitely worth reading and I can't wait till I discover new adventures of People from Guslar.
