Informative book that helped me with some initial riding, although some of the hints were very different to the English seat riding I was taught by my instructor.
Still a good 1st read for beginners especially to help with terminology
This book is for the novice rider and is very thorough. It is an easy read and covers a broad spectrum of horse information. I was pleasantly surprised with how organized it was.
Helpful. Covers a little bit about just about every aspect of riding and horse ownership, even more advanced skills. Clear but not especially inspiring.
Excellent, back to basics look at how to care for horses, riding techniques, and the differences between Western and English riding styles. Great for a beginner or for an advanced person.
