Terror Go Round (6/10 OKAY): Brothers looking for some freedom sneak off to go to a carnival where they discover a particular horse on the carousel is haunted by the ghost of a girl. This was a pretty repetitive and tame sympathetic ghost story that didn't do much for me, some minor cool aspects involving the ride but it's in dream sequences.
Night Shocker (7.5/10 PRETTY GOOD): A kid and his best friend find themselves having to sneak into a storage locker warehouse to get back something they lost, only to discover a shapeshifting vampire who's now targeted to hunting them. The story felt like a little forced setup in the beginning with Point A to B transitions, but the second half was more intense with the badass villain and a nice ending, so it ended up being enjoyable.
It's After Me! (8/10 GOOD): A boy gets a role in a school play to be the lead for the chance to raise his grades, however with playing the role of a great magician and wearing the cape, he finds out too late the cape may be sentient and influencing him in negative ways. This felt similar to the Haunted Mask with the kid's behavior and some fun scenes with this crazy cape's true nature, as well as a fun little way to end the story.
The one gripe I have with these books is they always end in a happy ending and seem to always have boy protagonists so some switchups would be neat, but otherwise the concepts to these stories are really fun and feel like EC Comics. Good stuff in terms of hidden gems from the saturated market of the 1990s for kids horror.

Nice. Loved the first story; enjoyed the last two. Always wanted to do a vampire in a storage locker; it's just so easy to imagine if you've ever been to storage units at night. And I'd hate to have to do the laundry with that cape; I'd rather my clothes not fight back.

Not bad, but run of the mill. The writing was rather bland.
