5 "Per cent'anni" Stars!
... Moretti and DeRossi adjoined.
Now that I've got through Griffin, Cole, and Enzo's happy ever afters, my next stop would be Beckett's.

Call Me Crazy is the third book in the Bellamy Creek series, and can be read as a standalone.
Just a heads-up before I start this one. I used the word crazy twelve times. If you detest the word crazy, or craziness in general, then this review might not be for you. Only crazies allowed. *wink*
The title clearly expressed it all. I loved this book like crazy. It was exactly what I needed to add in my favourite list this month. I did enjoy the story. But what I loved the most about this one was that it felt like I've got something out of it. Something that I don't have any idea before.
It started with Moretti family tradition. The oldest son had to be married by the time he's thirty-five in order to inherit the business. Enzo's time was coming. He needed a wife. As soon as possible. If he fail with it—which already happened once—his father would leave the business to his younger brother. And that he couldn't let happen.
Bianca wanted a baby. The sooner, the better. Sounds crazy, isn't it? The thing is, she had issues that made it hard for her to conceive as she got older. Bianca needed a sample, before it's too late.
When an opportunity arose, they agreed without hesitation. There were rules though that they should follow. No touching, no expectations, no falling in love. It was easy. Living together temporarily was plain sailing. Their business deal was as clear as day:
Enzo: Moretti and Sons company.
Bianca: Baby.
But something was as clear as mud:
Fate: Happily ever after.
I devoured this book like crazy. I couldn't put it down for the life of me. I should have things finished by now. But fuck it, at least I found a new winner.
This is the best book in the series so far. The most funny, sweet, swoon-worthy, angsty, and heartfelt, that was led by the most perfect paired couple in the series, Enzo and Bianca. I loved these characters like crazy. They're crazy, I am crazy, we are a family of crazies. Wanna join?
Technically, the conflict was a bit of a problem because it could be avoided through communication. However, subjectively, I understood them. I loved their flaws. I loved that they learned from their mistakes and owned up to it. And most importantly, I loved how they realized how much they love each other.
Overall, I absolutely loved the story. If you're looking for something that will make you fall crazy in love with crazy good characters. I can't recommend this enough! Don't forget to read the extended epilogue, by the way.
P.s This review is ridiculous, but this book deals with serious topic like infertility.

I’m younger than the main characters by maybe ten years? But uhhhh how I felt like I could be their babysitter!!! The amount of immaturity these characters showed was testing my patience. Like kids please this is not how we do this marriage of convenience thing.
The hero is the most egotistical character I’ve ever seen! Don’t get me wrong, I like confident cocky characters. But uhhh the hero was so full of himself. He never shuts up about how amazing he is. How amazing his body is. How handsome he is. How skilled he is. He made sure to mention all of that like every chapter. And when they were trying to have a baby? Of course he kept saying that they’d get it from their first try! Never mind that the heroine has PCOS and it’s so hard for her to have a baby, but nope no way his amazing skills would disappoint. Like dude just....shut up!
The heroine was acting so childish and immature. Those two gave you the illusion that yeah we know what we’re doing. Here’s the rules and we will follow, but then they go and unfollow every rule in the most childish way. We won’t have sex, then they do that the first time they’re stuck together. We won’t tell anyone of the plan, then she tell her sister, then he tell his friend, then she tells her friend, then he tells his whole group of friends and I’m like mmm what are you all doing?? Like okay clearly y’all don’t know how this marriage of convenience trope work.
Ugh and I hate when heroines decide impulsively to just pick their things and leave without talking or maybe engaging their partner in serious decisions? Like sweetie didn’t you both agree to talk honestly and to not hide things? Guess it’s just another thing they said and never did. One thing I realized, is that both of them are really big talkers. Overall, no matter your age, you’ll truly appreciate how mature you’re when you meet these two.

This book is part of the latter category, being number 3 in the Bellamy Creek series. I know they’re all standalones and can be read as such but y’all know what it’s like
Story
On the verge of his 35th birthday, Enzo Moretti needs to get married and settle down or risk losing his promised position as CEO of his family’s construction business to his younger brother. He needs to find a wife. Fast.
Enters Bianca DeRossi, tired of waiting for the right man and with a ticking biological clock, she needs a baby. Fast.

“I just want you to know, and I mean this with one hundred percent sincerity, I’m not sick of you yet.” Her laughter made the ache in my side disappear. “I’m not sick of you yet either.”
What I Liked
— This was really fun. Low angst, fun banter, likeable characters, crazy families, good friendships, delicious food- all around a good time.
It was the equivalent of looking back at fond memories, feeling that nostalgic smile creeping across your face and it just
— Enzo and Bianca complimented each other really well. I loved their chemistry and their every interaction left a giddy smile on my face. They shared many vulnerable and emotional moments that helped develop their relationship beautifully, while still being funny and hot together.
“Have I told you,” he said in a gravelly voice, “how much I fucking love this outfit? You should wear it every day.”
I laughed, still trying to catch my breath. “Would we ever leave the house?”
“No,” he answered, pushing inside me with slow, deep strokes.
“You’d lose your company.”
“Fuck my company.” He gripped my hips, pulling me back as he drove forward, making me gasp with every deep, aggressive thrust. “All I want is you. All I fucking want is you.”
— I thought they communicated well and didn’t fall into the usual fake marriage clichés, well, not until later in the book (more on that in a second). While they had that childish energy about them, they were still emotionally mature enough to admit they wanted each other, and they didn’t try to act all strong and uncaring when confronted, which I really appreciated.
I was just looking at her—the messy hair, the proud little grin, the swollen lips, the blue eyes, the flushed cheeks—but it felt like I was running as fast as I could, like I was stealing second base, or maybe rounding third and preparing to slide into home in order to beat the throw.
— Bianca was a kick ass heroine, strong but not annoying. Caring but no pushover. Independent, smart, goes after what she wants.
And Enzo, while not the type of hero I usually gravitate towards, was…cute. He was fun, didn’t take himself too seriously but had a strong caring side that makes you want to have him in your corner. You know he’d never betray you or knowingly hurt you.
In the dim lights of the dash, I could see him scowling like he was ready to take on the playground bully for me. And that was the moment I knew—I was madly, deeply, desperately in love with him.
— Infertility is a very sensitive issue. Oftentimes, when a heroine is battling with fertility problems and she suddenly gets pregnant in the epilogue, I find it really distasteful. Because kids are cool and all, but sometimes people need to be told that not having kids or not being able to have kids doesn’t make you any less of a woman.
I let him hold me and rub my back. I breathed in his scent. I listened to him tell me everything was going to be okay. And I felt the ground giving way beneath me.
When Bianca got pregnant, tho, I was so very happy for her. Because for one, she got treatment and was on meds, so it wasn’t a case of magical dick syndrome. For two, it gave me hope. A lifeline. Something to hold on to.
A couple of nights ago, I was consoling a very dear friend also dealing with PCOS (like Bianca) and I felt utterly helpless in the face of her turmoil. Seeing her tear herself down and feeling the light in her eyes dim at every “oh, so when are you going to have babies” question - it’s not right. It just isn’t. So to all my ladies out there, your reproductive abilities are not what defines you. You’re not less of a woman, or less of a person, if you’re infertile. Nor are you less qualified to be a parent, or less worthy of love and respect. No matter what your mind, society or whoever else is telling you, it’s not true. Please remember that. 🤍
What I Didn’t Like
— Our man Enzo, well, he was just straight up dumb sometimes. Especially towards the end.
Sweetie, let’s forget about her clearly enunciating why she’s leaving. Let’s forget about her crying while moving her stuff out of your house. Let’s forget about all the clear as day signs that she loves you. But, sweetie, she told you she loved you and…you walked out? Kept thinking
And if she’d changed her mind about having a baby with me, there was nothing I could do about it.
And
“She doesn’t want me, Griff. She kicked me out last night.”
— And Bianca. Bish the man told you that he wasn’t a mind reader and to please talk to him.
Their miscommunication at the end just felt out of place. Stupid even. I know that the classic romance hurdle must be met at 80%, but at least make it make sense. All they needed was to

Again, this was a good time. So if you’re in the mood for a feel good romance with fun characters and heartwarming friendship and family bonds, I’d recommend this one.

now I may be a little bit biased but every time Melanie Harlow writes a story with descendants of my favorite couple and characters she ever wrote, I am bound to love it the best..
here we have descendants of Tiny and Enzo from Speak Easy there are some others she wrote and I loved those two like Forked were we have hero who is Tiny's grandson. Anyway, I recommend Speak Easy and Speak low duet especially if you are interested in roaring twenties setting and bootlegging badass heroine. Everything can be read as standalone!!

Call Me Crazy started out really fun, but got more serious as the book went on. I loved the start and both Bianca and Enzo, but I didn’t love the conflict or the way the subject matter was handled so it went a bit downhill for me. The actual ending was sweet and swoony and I think this will work well for most people.

Too cute; so cute
This book was cringe and cliché in all the right places. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Its not something I would typically pick up and lets be honest: it was the cover that finally pushed me over the edge.
STORY
Bianca (h) wants a baby and Enzo (H) needs a wife. And hence their marriage of convience begins.
“A what?”
“A baby.”
His dark eyes clouded over with confusion. “Whose baby?”
“Mine. And . . .” I ate the second olive off the pick. “Yours.”
“I don’t have a baby.”
Rule no.1 : no sex
Rule no.2 : only honesty
Rule no.3 : no one can know
Rule no.4 : no falling in love
What can go wrong right?
PLOTLINE
Though this was supposed to be an enemies-friends-lovers;
We really only see the friends-lovers part. The enemies aspect was more or less them just annoying each other disturbingly close to how sibling piss each other off. Both the hero and heroine are from large italian families and happened to be childhood enemies. Bianca has always had a crush on him but she was unbelievably shy – which the hero surmarised as stuck up bitch/ too good for anyone else bitch. But this was cleared up very early in the book, which I was so glad about because honestly I cant handle bs and miscommunication like that throughout the book; especially if it involves childhood crush/grudge
“I wasn’t stuck-up, Enzo, I was shy!” she exclaimed, like I should have known. “And you were always surrounded by girls batting their lashes and tossing their long blond hair and giggling like idiots at everything you said. Just because I wasn’t one of them doesn’t mean I thought I was too good for you”
I enjoyed every second of them relcutanly becoming friends and opening up to eachother. The vulnerablity the characters potray very early on in the book was so satisfying because we see trust in the beginning of the relationship. They had no walls , didn’t push each other away or try to get space so they can “stop falling in love”
“Hey. What are you doing over there?”
“I don’t know. I’m giving you some space.”
“Well, I don’t want it. Come here.”
They had adorable banter and honestly on any other day this would’ve been a 3 star read for me, but after so many tragedies ive been having this one made me laugh with it instead of laughing at it
—->For their wedding; they wrote vows for the other one to read ( since they both no nothing of eachother besides their favorite color and food)
“what can I say but that my life before you was a meaningless, shallow void—in the words of the immortal Edward Cullen, it was ‘an unending, unchanging midnight.’” I paused here to give her a look—who the fuck was Edward Cullen?” -- I loved the many twilight references we have through this book. It seriously cracked me up
Enzo was our stereotypical cocky-mama’s boy. But he was honestly hilarious and real and truthful. Oh did I mention he’s cocky?
“No pretense, no expiration date, no conditions.
I had a feeling she’d say yes, but just in case, I practiced my smolder in the mirror before I left.
Oh yeah. I still had it.”
He never bullshitted about his feelings or take any of what he got for granted and the guy is gorgeous ( I drooled ovee the cover 1 too many times )
“I told my mother no aunts and uncles, no cousins. She claimed they were never going to speak to her again.”

Perfect pacing. Nothing too fast or too slow. I didn’t have a moment where I was like “was that necessary” or “ugh why now?”. Lots of cutesy moments in the book that made me jealous:

The miscommunication at the end was pretty much expected. We can go through an entire book without the H fucking up right? Well here the fuck up was more clean and easy. There were a lot of tears but I was angry at neither the hero nor the heroine. I understand both of their POV’s and why they did.
OVERALL
Highly recommend this if youre looking for a cheesy rom-com. Or a small town romance with an amazing friend group and supoorting families.

This book was cringe and cliché in all the right places. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Its not something I would typically pick up and lets be honest: it was the cover that finally pushed me over the edge.
STORY
Bianca (h) wants a baby and Enzo (H) needs a wife. And hence their marriage of convience begins.
“A what?”
“A baby.”
His dark eyes clouded over with confusion. “Whose baby?”
“Mine. And . . .” I ate the second olive off the pick. “Yours.”

PLOTLINE
Though this was supposed to be an enemies-friends-lovers;
We really only see the friends-lovers part. The enemies aspect was more or less them just annoying each other disturbingly close to how sibling piss each other off. Both the hero and heroine are from large italian families and happened to be childhood enemies. Bianca has always had a crush on him but she was unbelievably shy – which the hero surmarised as stuck up bitch/ too good for anyone else bitch. But this was cleared up very early in the book, which I was so glad about because honestly I cant handle bs and miscommunication like that throughout the book; especially if it involves childhood crush/grudge
“I wasn’t stuck-up, Enzo, I was shy!” she exclaimed, like I should have known. “And you were always surrounded by girls batting their lashes and tossing their long blond hair and giggling like idiots at everything you said. Just because I wasn’t one of them doesn’t mean I thought I was too good for you”
I enjoyed every second of them relcutanly becoming friends and opening up to eachother. The vulnerablity the characters potray very early on in the book was so satisfying because we see trust in the beginning of the relationship. They had no walls , didn’t push each other away or try to get space so they can “stop falling in love”

“I don’t know. I’m giving you some space.”
“Well, I don’t want it. Come here.”
They had adorable banter and honestly on any other day this would’ve been a 3 star read for me, but after so many tragedies ive been having this one made me laugh with it instead of laughing at it

It seriously cracked me up
Enzo was our stereotypical cocky-mama’s boy. But he was honestly hilarious and real and truthful. Oh did I mention he’s cocky?

I had a feeling she’d say yes, but just in case, I practiced my smolder in the mirror before I left.
Oh yeah. I still had it.”
He never bullshitted about his feelings or take any of what he got for granted and the guy is gorgeous ( I drooled ovee the cover 1 too many times )

Call Me Crazy is.. well... bit boring. That is all I can say. I miss Miss Harlow book. It has been a while since I read her books. Call Me Crazy have this crazy romance story about MOC with the heroine wanting a baby.
The concept is not something new. I was expecting so much. Humor, alive banter. But what I got it so so story. There is some humor between Bianca and Enzo, only at the beginning. Then toward the end the humorous banter is gone. So is the chemistry and the sex.
Overall not the best from Miss Harlow. I enjoy it OK.

I think I liked both characters a lot more in the previous books than theirs. It started okay, I liked the whole fake marriage trope, how they started developing feelings for each other, they had chemistry, I liked how fun and honest they were in begginging and then the conflict in the end spoiled the whole book for me. They agreed that they would always be honest with each other and then the h started acting like an immature child.
"I’m worn out, Blair. I can’t do this. I can’t read her mind. Unless she tells me what she’s thinking or feeling, all I have to go on is what she says to me and what she does."
It is a rare thing for me to agree with the H in any book but this was spot on. She could've just said everything to him and not assume things and leave.

HAPPY BOOK BIRTHDAY
Call Me Crazy goes straight to my 2021 favorites list! I LOVED this book! It gave me both OMC Disorder (that's One More Chapter disorder) and Highlight-itis!
Enzo Moretti needs a wife. Bianca DeRossi wants a baby. The solution is a no brainer for these two frenemies with history and mutual respect. They only need a few simple to follow rules in order for a fake marriage to work and get them both what they want. For instance, since they find each other maddening, no touching and no falling in love should be easy peasy. No problem.
“Well, Ricky, I guess you’ve got yourself a Lucy.”
But what happens when their attraction overcomes logic? And after they move in together and start to get along better than they could have imagined? Can the two put their rules aside and surpass the true hardships of a marriage?
If the couples from past books were wonderful, Enzo and Bianca are magnificent together. Their banter is perfect, their chemistry is off the charts. I cheered for them from the very start and swooned and got misty eyed throughout their romance going from enemies to great friends to irresistible lovers.
Enzo and Bianca were both perfectly imperfect. Though both wanted to protect their hearts by not catching feelings, Enzo was thoughtful and patient, sweet and charming and absolutely swoon worthy. I loved Bianca’s “moxie”, that she spoke her mind and that she didn’t hesitate to show her affection towards Enzo without having to admit it.
I loved every part of this book, from Enzo and Bianca’s friends and family who helped and supported them, to the small town charm. I smiled and laughed. I suffered from One More Chapter Disorder and couldn’t stop highlighting awesome exchanges between the two.

literally the only reason this book isn’t getting 2 stars is because i actually liked the infertility plot line. i found all the miscommunication in this book draining but i expected it bc they started the relationship as a business deal. i knew they would both struggle to talk through their shit.

Melanie Harlow se ha convertido en un must read, y si saben de una autora con un estilo similar please díganme.
Este libro ha sido perfecto desde la primera página ya estaba hyper enganchada era un no parar hasta que lo terminé.
Me gustó todo, la historia, los personajes, su química, sus momentos divertidos, hot, románticos todo.
Para empezar es un matrimonio por conveniencia (AMOOO) entre dos personas que no se soportan o eso es lo que ellos creen pero se convirtió de un enemies to lover a un Friends to lovers.
Enzo y Bianca juntos como por separada han sido geniales y creo que han gustado más porque tenía cero expectativas con ellos y me han sorprendido un montón. Se han convertido en una de mis parejas favoritas de hecho este libro ha sido el mejor de la serie y de los mejores que he leído de la autora sino es que el mejor.
El epílogo extra ha estado bien bonito.

This was my least favorite out of the three books for this series.
I feel like it had all the right elements to be a great story/book but there was something missing at the same time? I think it might have been the two MC's.
These two hated each other in the beginning and we got a glimpse as to why he hated her or felt resentment towards her, but it was kind of sad? It had to do with childish reasons. He was angry she made a rumor go around his dick was small and useless, and she was upset he danced with everyone at the dance they went together while she read a book the entire time and HE was upset she brought a book to the dance so danced with other people because she ignored him...
That's it? I needed something added to it to help with the angst. The reasons for it were just too little for me to feel the tension from their past.
But fast forward to much later in life and he needs a wife to get the family company and she wants a child before she can no longer have one because of her PCOS.
They agree to marry and have a baby then afterwards divorce.
I think they spend too much time trying to fix their speculations about each other. They were both stubborn and refused to play by the rules they set in place in the beginning.
I did really enjoy the moments when they connected, and you could feel the angst of their feelings.
Overall, it was a 3.5-star book, almost 3 stars tbh but I gave it that extra .5 because of how humble Enzo got the more the story progressed.
I did also like how there was no OW/OM drama - especially OW drama since he was made into such a massive playboy in the last two books. Their third act breakup was all on Bianca walking away and Enzo being an idiot.

I have been in love with this series from the start. It had everything a romance reader loves; well-thought-out characters, easy to relate to relationships, and a group of friends we all knew was going to have books about them down the line. Melanie Harlow promised fun, sexy times, and heart, and people, she delivered big time with this entry.
In the first book, we met "the guys", friends and baseball team players since 12. They loved playing together, sharing their guy thoughts, and supporting each other during the times they were stumped about the women they loved. They teased and joked but when stuff got real, they were always there for each other.
As each of the fellas met their perfect match, we got to know all of them well, and any time Enzo Moretti came into the picture, we knew Bianca DeRossi would end up there too.
Enzo Moretti and Bianca DeRossi, Bianca DeRossi and Enzo Moretti...they were like magnets, sparkplugs, and firecrackers all in one. He was handsome, knew it, and had no trouble getting any woman he wanted. He had gone to school with Bianca, felt she had her nose up in the air, and looked down on him. She thought he wasn't interested in her, was shy when in school, and carried the idea he was a player.
Today these two are competing for houses to flip. Every time, Enzo thinks he has found the perfect place, there Bianca is beating him to the quick. Bianca is an interior designer and has her own boutique business that is growing.
Bianca is a strong woman who knows what she wants and at this stage in her life, she wants a baby. There is only one little problem, no guy to make it with. Yes, if nothing shakes out, she will do it on her own with the help of science. After all, her clock was ticking.
Enzo is hearing his own clock ticking, the ticking of his upcoming 35th birthday, and his chance to be the head of the family company. His father had laid the law down; if he wasn't married by 35, the running of the company would go to his younger brother. Enzo couldn't have that happen, he cared too much about the business.
So after one attempt to get married had failed, he was really thinking he was going to lose the company. He was drowning himself in a bottle of wine when Bianca sat down at his table. She had seen everything...the woman saying no to Enzo and came to tease, no, cheer him up.
As Enzo and Bianca drink the wine, certain factors are revealed...his need to get married. Bianca asks a few questions and shock of shock, suggests he marry her. She needs someone to have a baby with, he comes from the same background as she, both know they will never fall in love with each other, this will be perfect.
Bianca tells Enzo she will marry him, get pregnant and then divorce him after the baby is born. He gets the business, she gets the baby, and no feelings to get in the way. A plan is figured out and game on.
This story was fantastic. It had wonderful humor laced with an amazing heart. It was sexy, caring, scary in the way these two started to feel things, had a serious look at trying to have a baby when it isn't easy, and the fear of being in love.
It had it all. This may be the end of the series, but I hope not.

As Enzo and Bianca drink the wine, certain factors are revealed...his need to get married. Bianca asks a few questions and shock of shock, suggests he marry her. She needs someone to have a baby with, he comes from the same background as she, both know they will never fall in love with each other, this will be perfect.
Bianca tells Enzo she will marry him, get pregnant and then divorce him after the baby is born. He gets the business, she gets the baby, and no feelings to get in the way. A plan is figured out and game on.
This story was fantastic. It had wonderful humor laced with an amazing heart. It was sexy, caring, scary in the way these two started to feel things, had a serious look at trying to have a baby when it isn't easy, and the fear of being in love.
It had it all. This may be the end of the series, but I hope not.

Enzo Moretti and Bianca DeRossi have always had a complicated relationship since childhood. Basically they cannot stand each other, always in an endless bickering, but fate insists on putting them on the same path.
Now Enzo is in need of a wife in order to inherits the family business, and Bianca's "biological clock" is ticking, and she wants a baby more than ever. This business contract, as they say, seems like win-win for both of them, until their relationship begins to feel like anything but fake.
THERE IS NOT A SINGLE THING I HAVE NOT LOVED ABOUT THIS BOOK. I think this has been the funniest one in the entire series so far, and that's because these characters are two dummies destined to be together, no matter how much they claim otherwise!
Enzo Moretti is the immature of the group, always joking and not taking anything seriously, enjoying his singleness... or at least that's what we thought. Actually he was a softie, a VERY thoughtful friend and lover, secretly wishing for something of his own, his own family. Bianca DeRossi was not much different from her so-called enemy; driven, considerate, and with an attitude that I don't know how fit in her little body, she was Enzo's match in every way, and literally EVERYONE knew it, but them.
When I tell you this is the funniest book in Bellamy Creek I'm not just talking about when they still couldn't stand each other and were planning this whole scheme. NOOOOOO, even as their relationship progressed and started to feel real, they kept doing stupidly funny things for each other, and you just can't read this with a straight face! Also, they were so supportive of each other so much and shared so many soft, vulnerable moments together that it was impossible not to feel something with this story.
Overall, this series is getting better and better for me. This is perfect if you're looking for a light romantic comedy with just a slight hint of angst, and a guaranteed happy ending (plus the best bonus scenes!!). Can't wait for the next installment!

And while I know that a lot of that has to do with my personal experiences that related to the heroine, I would still wholeheartedly recommend this book for its charm, it’s steam, and it’s heartfelt romance.
Enzo Morreti owned my heart. Behind the playboy charm is a man filled with so much heart, so much love. He is a man of action, showing his care through how he treats you and loves from. He is a hard hero to resist. Does he get it wrong? He does, but he gets so much more right. I loved every facet of him - his honor, his heart, and, of course his libido (hey, it’s a romance novel. Don’t judge).
What really made this book for me was the heroine. Sometimes you just relate to characters, and Bianca’s fears have been my own. Her infertility, the possibility of not having kids, taking Clomid and counting days just to get the phone call that it didn’t work, having to look at your husband and feel like you failed him again. Worrying that his desire for kids will mean the end of us. I’ve been there. I felt what she felt. The fear. The worries. The endless doubt and feeling less than, like you something is wrong with you. Melanie Harlow created such a recognizable character, and I think the way Enzo loves her through it made me love him so much more.
These two together, though, are amazing. Their banter and chemistry is off the charts. They made laugh, their love read authentically, and enjoyed their whole journey. While the conflict is expected, I was fully invested, and I felt their pain and longing. I felt the anguish. Melanie Harlow really brought the pain through the pages. Plus, she gave readers and amazing grovel and makeup. My heart was bursting out of my chest with joy.
This is by far my favorite Melanie Harlow book. This one just spoke to me on a personal level, while also delivering everything I love about her books - the heart and heat with amazing story telling is NOT to be missed.

If you enjoy modern fake marriage trope, then you’ll enjoy call me crazy. Childhood enemies to adult frenemies decide to get married to benefit each out. They stay married for a year in legality only, then Enzo gets his family business, and Bianca gets to have a baby! Sounds easy right? Well sure, until feelings get involved when they were meant to stay outta this transaction and just overall angst shows up to the party. Anyway, a great read if you want trope on trope in a small town.
I’d like to mention that there is an infertility storyline, and I have not experienced infertility, so I’m not sure if it was done well in this book. If fertility discussions and plots can be triggering for you, then I’d check some of the reviews before picking CMC up!

I’ve read quite a few books by Melanie Harlow but this one wasn’t among my favorites. It was okay, a light read for the most part (the heroine has some health issues considering conception so be aware) but I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the characters and let’s face it, they were enemies in the previous books but not in this one. Oh, and I didn’t like the extended epilogue.
Still, it was a decent read and I didn’t consider dnfing it so that’s a plus. So far the best book in the series for me is Make Me Yours (I didn’t like the first one much). Maybe I’ll read the last book, maybe not. 3 ⭐

This book is basically the literary equivalent of the heart eyes emoji!! Just when I think I couldn't love this series any more, Call Me Crazy charms and smolders itself straight up to my series favorite. Sweet, playful, swoony, and with the perfect dash angst- this is everything that I love about Melanie Harlow. From their witty banter and sexy chemistry to their soulful connection, Enzo and Bianca captured my heart completely. Call Me Crazy is a heartfelt and tender reminder how love can manifest in the most unexpected way, how finding it can be messy, perhaps even crazy, but taking the risk may find you exactly where you are meant to be. And Enzo and Bianca- swoon- I've never seen a couple so perfectly meant to be.
I could tell you how sexy this story is, how phenomenal the chemistry is, how funny the banter and how charming every character is. The perfect pace, the beautiful writing, the sincerity...but you know all that, this is a Melanie Harlow book after all. These two are simply PERFECT for each other in every way, but I have to talk about something else in this story that touched me so differently I feel I won't be the same. Saddle up- I’m about to get personal.
I’m going to go ahead and tell you now that my review will not do this book justice- though it did result in me sending Melanie Harlow a long ass email talking about how wonderful it is (some parts of that email I’ll include in this review). There are so many reasons to adore this story- but the reason that is so hard for me to put into words comes down to this: Bianca.
It's not often you see intimate parts of your own identity so keenly and affectionately depicted in the books you read. Sure, we often relate to characters, feel affection, are deeply connected to them (which I always feel in MH books). But there are these special moments when we find characters that we more than relate to- where you feel like parts of yourself are being exposed through them. Where just reading a character makes you feel vulnerable, VISIBLE in a way that goes beyond just relating to their story. Because those moments only happen when parts of those characters are parts of you- where their story isn't just theirs, it's yours.
And for me, I found that in Bianca. I found myself unexpectedly sobbing early in the book, when Bianca tells Enzo, "I want to have a baby, and I'm done waiting for it. Why shouldn't I get to experience being a mom just because I haven't found real love." I knew then that Bianca was more than a character to me- and with every passing page, I felt more intensely connected to her. I don't just relate to Bianca's heart- part of it beats as my own.
As someone who has spent much of my life with PCOS,I’ve lived with the weight of doctors proclaiming I would like not be able to conceive (something I was told at the ripe old age of 16). I’ve spent most of my life mourning a hypothetical existence that many take for granted, that is biologically assumed. Something that was (and is) and important part of the live I wanted for myself. Like Bianca, I’ve felt the passing tick of my own biological clock with every waking moment- and my goodness, how liberating it was to see a heroine who embodied such a central part of my being. But most importantly, how empowering to see that same character CHOOSE herself. DECIDE on herself- to see a character reclaim herself, her power, and to find a path to the happiness she wants. She doesn’t let it define her anymore, though that doesn’t make it any less hard or painful. Beyond the injustice, the pain, the fear of it all- Bianca finds her happiness.
Of course, the path to that is not easy for her or Enzo- romantically or biologically. Melanie perfectly balances realism here with still keeping the book sweet and not too heavy. She acknowledges and respects Bianca’s challenges, but she doesn’t let that be the totality of her story. In fact, she ensures Bianca is a vibrant and realIzed character- she’s funny, she’s smart and kind, she has goals and other dreams. She’s more than her fertility - though that’s an important part of her, it’s not HER. She lives- and loves- and she can do all that and still want to be a mom more than anything. She can still grapple with the fear and anger of her body, and the worry that if she doesn’t find “love” fast enough, young enough hope will be lost for that dream, without that being ALL she is. And y’all- I’ve never felt such hope. I swooned, I sighed, but what touched me the most was being SEEN. My pain, my challenges feeling VISIBLE - for something so intrinsic in me to be valued, respected, and to be conveyed with optimism and love. With joy.
My story might not be entirely like hers- because hers has Enzo, and I wish mine did too. MY GOODNESS. I was not prepared to love this man the way I did. He makes every other man in this series look average..boring even. SWOON. He’s full of himself and sardonic, playful and very witty, but he’s also so compassionate, sweet and sincere. He has a sensitivity and vulnerability that is so transparent and inviting- and the way he shows up for and ultimately loves Bianca rocked me to my core. This is how we dream about being loved- Enzo does it right.
Their intimacy is truly the best of the series- maybe of all Melanie books. And not just the sexy times (although those burned me up)- but it is their emotional connection. These two become best friends from enemies - so quickly and easily. Like it was always meant to be. They see each other truly- they value and lift each other up. This is what true partnership looks like- they find safety and family in each other. That’s the beautiful irony- what starts as a lie becomes the truest part of their hearts.
Please, read this book. Even if the story doesn’t personally resonate with your experience as it does mine, it is truly a beautiful story. Chemistry and character writing at its finest. THIS Is what romance is all about. A story that gives you hope about love and life. A story that reminds us that love may be messy, and the path to it might seem a little bit crazy, but that it will come- it just takes that leap of faith. But a story that also reminds us we don’t have to wait for it to decide on ourselves- that we can chart the course to our happy. I live for Melanie Harlow's small town romances, and this one is now my dearest- my heart is so full!

Marriage of convenience between childhood nemesis drawing up a written rules contract of sort that we know are just meant to be crossed at some point.
-No kissing -No sex -No falling in love-
He needs a wife before he turns 35 to inherit the family business, she has trouble conceiving a child and needs a sperm donor, preferably someone she knows, they will stay married until after she gives birth if they are succesful in this endeavor then go their separate ways. Yeah, nothing new in terms of trope but this one was truly done well. Of course it's all very predictable but no less enjoyable.
I absolutely loved witnessing Bianca and Enzo bickering through their obvious chemistry, I loved witnessing them failing their own rules even more, both of them getting pretty inventive with their reasons to break their own rules.
Unrequited love comes into play at some point and brings on some nice angsty tension.
No over the top drama, fun, sexy and sweet at times too. This small town romance was pretty much a one sitting read for me and ends with a sweet HEA.

AHHHH!! Melanie Harlow did it again! I absolutely floved Call Me Crazy!! Bianca and Enzo were amazing. I loved the banter and chemistry between them and could not stop reading!! What a perfect conclusion to the Bellamy Creek series!!
Anyone who knows me knows that the arranged marriage trope is my absolute favorite trope everrr. I am completely obsessed with the undeniable pull between the characters. Call Me Crazy was no different. I loved Bianca and Enzo. They were both spirited and fiery!!
Overall I loved this story! I have been looking forward to Enzo and Bianca from their banter in book two and honestly they did not disappoint. This story was sexy, laugh out loud funny and an amazing addition to this series. 5 stars! ~Ratula

Especially when things turned real.

I have only read a couple of Melanie Harlow books but this one has by far been my favourite. I enjoyed the writing and character development much better in this book compared to the other books of hers I’ve read.
This follows Bianca and Enzo who are both in a situation where they need to be married to get something they want. Enzo needs to be married in order to inherit his family company and Bianca wants to get married and have a child. Bianca has PCOS which can create difficulties when trying to have a baby. So she wants to try as soon as possible as she isn’t getting any younger. As Bianca and Enzo grew up together, they were both comfortable with this agreement.
I did initially rate this 4 stars straight after I finished the book but after thinking about it some more, I changed it to 3.75 and for one reason only. The PCOS rep. I have PCOS and it is the first time I’ve come across a character that also has it so I was super excited but unfortunately I was left wanting more.
It seems that PCOS was only used as a means for the heroine to be somewhat infertile. Yes, infertility is a side effect of PCOS, but the condition as a whole is much more than that so I was extremely disappointed that this was not explored further and instead it was just used as a plot point.
Other than that, I still highly enjoyed the book and the banter between both characters so I would still recommend it.
I have only read a couple of Melanie Harlow books but this one has by far been my favourite. I enjoyed the writing and character development much better in this book compared to the other books of hers I’ve read.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series but the rest of the books so far have just been so meh. Still good but nothing special.
