I bought this book for a class I was taking. But the quilt I made didn't turn out to be as nice as the ones in the book. Probably my fault. But I still have the book, so may try again.

This technique is way too hard for quilts that I don't even like the looks of.

Caution: this is not a book of quilt patterns. This is a truly inspirational explanation of how to develop your own and the principles to follow in choosing, blending and arranging colour and fabrics. The bonus for inexperienced and not very gifted beginners like myself, the actual quilting techniques are more or less straightforward - and no joining of curved seams. However, the book is dangerous to your bank balance because you will want to rush out (or on to your computer) and buy up masses of different fabrics to play with. You have been warned!
