A little slow getting started but if you can get past the first few chapters, you’ll obtain several tips for managing conflict in the workplace. I’d also suggest that you read this book in conjunction with the book “Getting to Yes” by William Ury. Whereas “Getting to Yes” provides solid negotiating techniques, this book will help you to deal with the emotional aspects of a negotiation and how to address that when conflicts arise.

An intuitive book that covers the topic of conflict management in terms of personal impact . Understanding the conflict dynamics, what are your hot buttons, the triggers of our emotions, and what behaviours are the most frequent, preventing destructive responses and increasing the level of self awareness and self control are the key of fading a conflict even before letting it start. All in all, it's a must-read for anyone who wants to lead or be part of a high-performing team, as building conflict competent teams educates leaders and team members in order to constructively cover the challenges faced during disagreements.
Helpful if you have conflict and want to learn to internalize and deal with yourself. Topics train you to look with in to change your approach with the hope that you change the outcomes. For example - it tells you not to focus on the negatives and to approach problems as opportunities to improve yourself. Very idealistic.
