Jim has never really felt well. Some would call him a hypochondriac. Happily for him, his most recent symptoms do cause his GP genuine concern.
Admitted to hospital for further investigation, and unwittingly allowing his wife to enhance her relationship with his twin brother, Jim is bombarded with visits from irrepressible work colleague Jeff.
Jim’s initial relief at being officially unwell is short lived as his consultant, Mr Cook – believing Jim has more wrong with him than was at first thought – suggests a unique way to ease the general bed shortage.
