I am really disappointed with this book. The patterns look wonderful and flipping through thr pages had me excited and inspired. When I sat down and began crocheting, however, I soon had problems. The first pattern I tried, I needed to alter as I went to get it to work. The proportions of the finished toy were out and not at all in the same scale as the photographed version shown. The second pattern that I tried, I had to give up on. The piieces did not fit together properly and it couldn't be constructed.
Really disappointing.

This is one of my favorite crochet pattern books, so far. I made the platypus - twice, in fact. The patterns are simple and well-written. They work up very quickly. I look forward to making more little animals using it.

haven't had a chance to make anything from this yet. I'v browsed through it and it looks wondeful. Clear instructions and far more patterns than I was expecting. Looking forward to finishing some other projects so I can make something from here.

Simple and cute patterns-perfect for a beginner. Most patterns are really variations on each other which might annoy some people, but I like it.
