I borrowed this book from our library using Hoopla, quite honestly the 1 star review might be more the fault of the description on Hoopla. As an instructional coach for an online school, I saw this book and was excited to read it. This is more of a doctoral project than a professional development book. It is filled with case studies and scientific jargon, which is fine if that’s what the description of the book gave. However, when the description of the book says to the audience of educators, “this book details how virtual teaching and learning can continue to be transformed through leveraging digital platforms,” you are expecting actionable strategies. Teachers, don’t waste your time they aren’t in this book!
