(Nonfiction- writing book)
Writing a Romance Novel for Dummies by Victorine Lieske and Leslie Wainger is a great source of knowledge for beginners and new to Indie authors.

I really enjoyed the lists they had of resources, the chapters on dialogue, indie and traditional publishing advice, and all the great examples they gave after teaching a topic.
Some chapters weren’t for me but the ones that were I definitely want to go back and read again.

I borrowed the audiobook from my public library app, but I plan to purchase it to read again.

It's very detailed and contains info for people considering traditional publishing, indie publishing, or both. Lieske gives clear information that's easy to understand when trying to figure out the ins and outs of the book world. A valuable resource with a wealth of knowledge.

I write horse novels that often have romance in them, but have learned that they aren't 'romance' books and shouldn't be categorised this way - thanks Victorine! I have updated some book categories from this.

This book is very informative and practical. I feel I am now armed (and excited!) to continue working on my next Christian Horse Romance for Camp Nano in April.

It was great to read about professionals across many romance genres and working examples for stories, promoting and publishing. Recommended reading!
