Interesting, culturally, racially and as a fellow parent. I enjoyed the last third of the book most, when Ms. Lewis took over the business herself… She is disarmingly honest, about her failures, her faith and her attitude to life. I’d like to know more about her business techniques and strategies.
An inspiring biography. It is full of perseverence, family, faith, and staying true to yourself. Loida Lewis is a good example of hard work and taking care of business in her own way. I would recommend reading this biography.

Such an inspiring story of love, faith, determination and hardwork. Loida Lewis' story shows how one can have it all but stay humble, joyful, and non-compromising in her values as she navigates (with elegance and class) a male-dominated and cut-throat business world.
Very interesting story that was pretty well told. Good smattering of unique life lessons/principles, some of which are truly worth considering. Poorly edited, though. Tenses and grammar were all over the place, I was constantly trying to keep myself from just red-marking everything.
This book is inspirational for business professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs. It was a great read that is filled with heartfelt stories surrounded with strength, courage, and wisdom. #Entrepreneurship #Family #Courage #Perseverance
