This diabolically delightful new collection features eleven tales of skin-crawling horror. So sit back and relax.
Ron Ripley is a husband and father surviving in New England, a place which seems to be getting colder every day. He grew up across from a disturbingly large cemetery where he managed to scare himself every night before going to bed. Mostly because of the red lights that people put in front of the headstones. Those things are just plain creepy to a kid.
Ron enjoys writing horror, military history and driving through the small towns of New England with his family, collecting books and giving impromptu lectures on military history to his family, who enjoy ignoring him during those dreadful times.
Eleven will written fantasy world 🌎 haunting horror ghost 👻 adventure thrillers short stories by various Scare Street authors. They are telling stories in Hannigans Bar 🍸. Each story is different with interesting well developed characters lots of action and misdirection leading to each conclusion. I would highly recommend this series and various authors to readers of fantasy haunting novels 👍🔰. 2023 👒😀😡👑
Scare Street authors are favorites of mine. Happy reading and have fun 🌙😀
I love Scare Street's TAVERN OF TERROR Series, now in its 4th Volume. Not only does it showcase multiple authors, but the framework is homey and comfortably appealing: an old, well-used neighborhood tavern, with its regulars, a seemingly tough barkeep, a punky barmaid, and a few customers always on tap with the ghost stories. Expect chills to creep up on little cat feet (or creeping spider taps!) As the tag line reads, "Your scream's on the house."
I borrowed this book with my Kindle unlimited subscription. The amount of different stories was amazing each well written and putting you on the edge of your seat. It left me with my breath caught in my throat I reckon end this book very highly. It just grabs you and takes you on a crazy roller coaster ride.
In this volume I was literally checking over my shoulder every time I went outside for laundry at night. Each story was creepy and will make you squirm. The last story I was eating lentil soup big mistake when hearing the last story play out lol . The narrator does an amazing job with each story and characters. He nails the accents required and does a great female voice.
Absolutely loved this volume! The stories within made the hair on my arms rise a few times. They were phenomenally done, and perfect for any horror lover! Cannot wait for the next volume to be released!
The final story will linger on my memory for a long time, but all of the stories are creepy pieces of art that should be savored. The snacks from this tavern have a particular bite.
Another amazing set of short horror stories from Scare Street. This one was one of the better ones. All the regular authors are included and it was narrated by my favorite audiobook narrator.
The Tavern of Terror anthology features short stories centered around a neighborhood bar with both regular patrons and visitors who have tales to tell. And the tales, what tales they are. You never know if the storyteller actually experienced the horrors they relate or if, as they will say, it was a friend or acquaintance who entered he realm of the unknown. In the end it doesn't really matter because all of these stories are rippingly good scares. If there is a particular theme with this volume, it is buildings and structures with decidedly bad vibes. Enter at your own peril.
