Bring on the Action!

Stephanie know how to give us a little CIA undercover action with a damsel in distress honey! Tina and Malik’s love easy and I enjoyed that so much! From them enjoying karaoke, competing against each other and also their chemistry was electric! It took them getting one date for the sparks to fly. I’m not going to lie the scene at their event had me shook cause while you’re caught up having fun with Malik and Tina, we forget all about his mission and what he was doing before coming back. Him going back hurt but whew when he came back?! Loved it! All the feels! Side character stories have me so curious because what’s the deal with Tristan and Chelsea. Wth happened with Destiny and Langston cause she was acting weird at the salon. Also Not the Clark’s mama getting a major upgrade?!? No spoilers but yea I need the next book asap preferably Langstons! Very good story and I would definitely recommend!

I was worried because it started a little slow for me but it didn’t stay that way. I really liked this book and am going to enjoy this series. Malik Anthony Clark!!! Can’t wait for the next book!

This was a vibe. Malik Clark, a CIA agent, is currently on a "leave." Malik meant it when he stated he was looking for a break. He had his sights set on Tina, the main vocalist of the band Genesis Rising, as we learned in the Prelude. Tina had a unique experience with Malik. There was intense tension between the two. I think the nature of their relationship seemed easy and natural because they both knew what they wanted. They seem to be on an equal level to me based on their banter and the way they interact. The trip in Fiji LOORDD 😅I wasn’t ready. They were Pop! Pop! Popping! 🤣🤣and Tina was enjoying her elephant trunk…. Welp we were quickly reminded that Malik is CIA he had me stressed but I’m glad to see that everything worked out. I'm still curious about how they'll manage this relationship; perhaps we'll learn more as the series progresses.


Clark Brothers did not play about their mother Cynthia. Cynthia was so sweet cause it would have been fuck Fredrick and I would like an update on Cynthias dating life. I can’t wait to read Tristian and Langston stories.

I knew Malik would be my favorite brother and I was not disappointed! Tina and Malik were an easy couple to get wrapped up into! She was the star of a musical girl group and he was a CIA agent. We the readers knew this but Tina did not. She couldn’t quite figure out this mystery of a man but she knew that anytime he was around all was right in her world! This was a real adult romance that was angst free and had none of the childish back and forth games some of these books have! The brotherhood was chefs kiss and I loved the way these Clark men looked out for each other and well as their mama!

I will say that the narrators (Wesleigh) played a big part in the enjoyment of this book. Had I read it I’m not sure I’d still feel as strongly about the book. I’m also not sure if I’ll finish the rest of the series but we will see what the future brings.

Lots of exciting twists and turns in this action-packed story!

Malik is an undercover CIA Agent and Tina is an up and coming soul singer. However, in the middle of the story, the numerous sex scenes begin to throw off the pace of the story.

But once Malik had to leave the country, the story took off like a roller-coaster!

This story highlights Malik Clark, a CIA Operative who has his sights on the lead singer of a singing group(Genesis Rising). Tina Braddon and Malik Clark’s romance is what dreams are made of. Their trip to Fiji is to die for! Just wait until you get to the chapter that describes the Lovo Feast. Get your fans ready! But that’s not all folks.
The tension is almost unbearable as Malik has to return to his previous undercover assignment In Afghanistan. Great scene!
You will also get to meet the Clark family, along with their drama. Believe me, they are not the family next door. If you are a fan of Ms Norris’ work, then you have already met the oldest Clark brother, Derek in HER NAUGHTY SUITOR, one of the Rose family books. The other two brothers are Tristan (Special Agent) and Langston (Homeland Security).
This is a great read! I have o e suggestion before you read this book, get THE CLARKS OF NORTHSHIRE BEND—A Prelude. It will help you understand the Clark family dynamic. This is a new series, so get in on it now. You will not be sorry!

His Main One

Love Love Love.

The Clark Brothers are here and I'm ready for more.

I knew I'd love Malik. Solid man and even more loyal. I love the mystery and just softness of such a strong Alpha man. I like that he approached Tina with what she loved most, singing. He wanted her to be his main and only one.

I wish that he would've just told her about his career, yet it worked out as it should've.

Tina was someone I've been waiting to read more about. She has been a character favorite of mine for some time now and I absolutely adored her in this book.

Getting more of Genisis Rising was a plus as well. I'm looking forward to more of Lisa and Chelsea as this series progresses.

Derek, Malik, Langston and Tristan have intrigued me more so I need their stories, well Langston and Tristan's. I love a brotherly bond, so this was nice to read about amongst these men.

Elite Alliance is heating up and I can't wait for more.

Definitely a great start to what I know will be a fire series.

I'm loving everything about the Clark's so far. I'm not so sure about Fredrick just yet but I'm rooting for the best. Destiny is still a quiet subject on the scene but who knows. I love all the dynamics this story is going thru and now it reads into the next story.

Also, I love law enforcement shows, so him a part of the CIA was chefs kiss! lol

It wasn't the best written, but I just loved the story for what it was. Malik made this story!

Author Stephanie Nicole Norris is becoming a mainstay on my bookshelf. Having indulged in a few of Norris' works of words, this series is the most interesting.

too slow

I really wanted to like this story and I pushed myself to finish the first book although I wanted to stop reading. Excited that this wasn’t drug dealers and kingpins. I thought at the end of the first book it was about to pick up, because I didn’t know their parents were divorced. The way they acted about their fathers proposal was too much so I thought they were still married and he went and embarrassed her on tv. I didn’t find out until the next book that they not even together. Then for the author to repeat the whole incident at the awards ceremony after already doing that in the first book was annoying. Then she turned around and repeated the whole lounge scene like we didn’t already read what happened through Malik’s chapter. Anyway this series is pretty boring to me. Nothing is happening. I didn’t know this second book was going to be Malik/Tina maybe I missed that somewhere. I’m more interested in the Langhston situation. But I’m not going to finish this.

Awesome

What a great story with characters that you will definitely enjoy. There is some emotional drama with a nice ending. There is parts that's funny and will make you smile. It's intriguing enough for you to keep turning the pages until the end. If you are in the mood for light hearted reading this is a nice story to do it with along with characters that you can enjoy. The babies are a good bonus. It's hot and sizzling too but the is kind of a cliffhanger a little, so if you are in the mood for light hearted reading then you can read this story its hot, sexy and so tantalizing. But it's also intriguing enough to brake your heart. It will make you grin and you may need a fan because on more than one occasion the incredibly descriptive sizzling hot scenes of passion. There is parts that's funny and will make you smile. It's so amazing you will keep turning the pages until the end.If you are in the mood for some great reading this is a compelling story to begi with along with some awesome characters that you can enjoy. Now don't get me wrong it's hot, sizzling and very captivating too but it feels like a kind of a cliffhanger at the end ,but its not and if you are in the mood for a compelling story then reading this is just what you want to read !!!😍

Tina and Her Secret Agent

These two were so sexy and sultry, even their flirting had me blushing! With both of their lives being so busy, it was nice to see them finally get some time together! And their competitive nature was the icing on the cake. I need Tina to slide a sista the ingredients to that secret sauce that had them all licking their fingers! 😋🤣 And old boy Malik ain't no slouch in the kitchen either! They both can cook for me any day! LOL! I loved that Malik was Deputy of Covert Affairs for the CIA. I would have loved to have seen just a lil bit more of CIA part of his life spill over into his personal life with Tina. We only got a little taste at the end of the book. It was juicy, just needed a little 🤏🏾more. And whew! In no way is that a reference to the man himself because he about had Tina running when she finally got an up-close look at the "beast!" That was both hot and hilarious at the same time!🤣 I just wished Malik would have stopped calling Tina "beau" after the first time. Doesn't exactly read as a cute term of endearment. I tried to leave my mind open to it, but it was a no-go for me. Anyway, can't wait to read about Langston and Tristan. Destiny was walking around with a lil attitude with Tina and the girls at the spa, but isn't she the one who messed up with Langston?! That should be goooooood!😄

My Sentiments:

"His Main Attraction" was a beautiful read about Malik and Tina. His love for her was undeniable, seeing that Malik had finally found someone to love. The story showed how well this family of brothers, including Langston and Tristan, truly loved their mom despite what had gone on with their father. Seeing their mom find a king who seemed to make her happy was so good. Also, we find Tina's aunt Loretta was giving her some trouble in what was going on in her life with just getting older. How well this story all comes; together; you will have to pick this story to see how well this author presents it to the reader. Indeed it was a good read.

What a terrific suspense novel!

Stephanie, my hat if I wore one is off to you! I absolutely loved Malik and Tina's story! The intrigue, the family drama, the loved that bloomed and blossomed between Malik and Tina truly warmed my heart! The surprise to know two of his brothers are in the same covert organization he just said yes to, captured Malik and assured him that he had made the right choice! In Arch I remember that the king of Kera Asnela was trying to get Malik's mom to enter a relationship with him. Every novel I read by this author takes me on a journey of one kind or another and I totally enjoy those twists, turns, off track back on track and great love making along the way! I loved this story very, very much and I thought I had already read it and was pleasantly surprised to learn I had not!!!! Great job Stephanie!

I listened to the audiobook. The male narrator was still not my cup of tea. This book put me in mind of another series, but this story was pretty decent. 3.5 stars.

I don't know why Tina thought Malik and both of his parents were pranking her. I would have thought she would ask more questions. Especially with his parents sitting there.

I did not like the way Mario's father disrespected his mother. He was perfectly entitled to live his.life, but he didn't have to do what he did in the way that he did it so publicly. Malik's mother was a better person than I would have been.

One part of the narration that could have easily been left out was during the action scene with the gunshots. The "pew, pew" and the "bam, bam" sounded ridiculous. The twist at the end of the book was nicely done.

I will more than likely read Tristan's story, but I am really interested in Langston as story.

His Main Attraction is the first book in the Clark’s of Northshire Bend series. We met the Clark brothers as well as the group members of
Genesis Rising in previous books by this author. This story focuses on Malik and Tina’s path to love. Please believe me when I say that this story gave me all the feels. Funny, sexy, romantic, and even a bit of action thrown in there! Stephanie Nicole Norris does a great job of showing the undeniable pull between our two main characters. The shared moments between Malik and Tina are just as powerful as the sex scenes. Talk about the sex scenes, whew!!! The whole book is perfectly paced and an excellent read. I highly recommend it!

Loving this series already!!!

Malik and Tina had their eyes on each other for a while. When they finally get together, unbeknownst to them, trouble lurks around the corner. Malik took Tina on a trip of a lifetime. I believe this is when they fell in love with each other. When it looked like his job with the CIA would come between them, Malik stepped into action and eliminated the threat. He was a man of action, as well as a hero! Malik, Tristan and Langston all have dangerous government jobs. I’m just glad that everything worked out in Malik and Tina’s favor. I can’t wait to read about Langston, Tristan, and their mother Cynthia! I really want to find out what happens with Cynthia’s “upgrade”!!! 😜❤️🔥

Nobody

What Keith Sweat say, “Nobody”. Nobody but Malik Clark could give Tina what she needed, nobody could do her like he do, nobody could treat her like him, and nobody could love her like him!
Mr. Black James Bond was giving her that crazy work! Hiding a trunk in his trunks - no back problems ok!
Tina was his person. She was hilarious, spoke her mind, had no filter, caring, loyal, down to experience things even if she was scared as long as it was with him. She allowed him to lead and he never took it for granted.
Them covert Clark’s are more than meets the eye’s! You could call them transformers. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what which Clark has in store for us next!

What a Man

Malik and Tina scorched my reader. They had mad chemistry that was palpable. I thoroughly enjoyed their story. They were a couple who had fun together and their antics just made me laugh. I was glad they finally were able to follow through on getting together. Unfortunately, Malik’s job causes issues. A threat from his undercover days poses a threat to everyone in his life. This causes him and Tina to pause their relationship. They both regret this decision and spend months apart when Malik has to go back undercover. Thankfully, he returns and they reconcile. This was a fantastic story about meeting your perfect person. They not be perfect but they’re perfect for you. 4.5 stars

Great start to the Clarks!

I love her series and this one was no exception. She keeps you anticipating the next story. The wording in this story was a little different, it didn't flow off the pages like a conversation would. And I understand the importance of keeping stories relevant to what's going on; showing the woman in charge of the situation and the man asking permission, but in some instances Malik almost seemed unsure of himself. However he has such a strong personality and powerful jobs it seems like a contast. All in all I still loved it and can't wait for the rest.

LOVED IT!

Almost 28 years ago I began a journey that was going to lead to,or should I say that has lead to my greater good!🙏 One of the things that I rediscovered on this journey was my love for reading!😍 There were not many black authors writing current and interesting stories that related to life, but I did find some and I belonged to quite a few paperback book clubs! Thank god we've moved into the 21st century and I am E- reading like everybody else! I am so glad I found Ms Norris because she is one of the top black authors that I read! She is so talented and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in this series😘
