Very nicely written book with some good history for school students! I grew up in Skowhegan, Maine, went to Margaret Chase Smith Elementary School, and often rode past her house on the way to my best friend’s home, but I never got to meet her! I know the author personally and she did an excellent job writing a regional history book for students!
