Originally dropped with Volume 1 but decided to pick it up again with Volume 2 since I was in the mood for a Slice-of-Life-y, slow-paced romance, and liked this one much more. I like that Asamura was actually able to contribute/help Saki in this one with the tutoring and lofi music rec (the foodmaking with Narasaka was not as impressive since Saki still makes food everyday and does way more than him, plus he was incapable of making himself and needed Narasaka to instruct him the whole time). But it was still nice that he contributed/helped Saki out so much, and I also liked his worrying over Saki when she was secretly out late practicing for her interview at his bookstore, and I like how he rushed out to try to find her. That was nice. I can also see the budding romance between the two, which I do mostly enjoy for its slow pace and how well the two get along. I also like that they'll work at the same place soon. Much better volume than Volume 1 overall, and I will probably check out Volume 3 if I don't lose interest in the series. Small side note, but I also like that there's no stupid drama or forced/awkward misunderstandings. The friends/family are all mostly nice and polite, and it's just an easygoing read.
