The last thing I expected was to find my boyfriend in bed with one of my best friends.
Their betrayal sent me on the next flight back to my home town in Vermont.
The plan was to take the summer to find myself. No dating and no distractions.
But when my brother’s roommate asks me to come to Canada with him for the summer, I find myself saying yes.
I’ve never been one to turn down an adventure and how could I possibly deny Simon Murray with those steel gray eyes and dimples he has?
Simon
When Stella came back to Vermont with her heart broken, I needed to find a way to cheer her up.
Taking her to Canada with me was the first thing I could think of.
It was a perfect change of scenery for her to find herself.
She agreed and we headed north with no plans of involving ourselves with each other.
There was an attraction neither of us could deny and when we found ourselves in a different country sharing an apartment with one bed, the dynamic shifted.
It was just a temporary arrangement for the short summer months.
So, why did I find myself wanting her to move coast to coast to be with me?

Coast to Coast is a story of life, love, and leaning into your fears.
I really loved Simon and his willingness to put it all on the line. Stella frustrated me a bit, but they were a perfect match and one of my favorite Wyncote couples.

"We have an arrangement. Just a fling and nothing more."
Another great addition to this hockey series by Cali Melle and I liked very much that I saw Simon to be paired with Stella, Sterling's little sister... And karma is really a bitch since Sterling got involved with Stella's best friend in the previous books!!! LOL!!! I loved Simon very much and even though, Stella was kind of frustrating, I enjoyed their story very much!!!
"We all need someone to be on our side."
Stella and Simon had an attraction from the very first moment they met... But Stella had a boyfriend back to California... But then, Stella went home and she found her boyfriend in bed with one of her good friends... Now, she wants some distance and what a better way than to return back to Vermont and take some time to clean her act and re-invent herself??? But the temptation is always in front of her in the form of her brother's best friend, Simon... and she doesn't need this kind of complication in her life!!!
"Maybe he can be a part of my journey... just as long as he doesn't become my destination."
Simon is enamored with Stella since the very first moment, but he gives her space since she seems kind of lost... But then, Simon has to live Vermont for a whole month and in a rush of the moment, he is proposing Stella to join him to Canada... Simon wants Stella, but he has a goal that he is determined to conquer... He just wants a summer fling, but what will happen when these two will be forced in an apartment with only one bed for a whole month???
"If you're going to fall in love with someone, I want it to be me."
I really liked this couple!!! Simon was such a sweetheart!!! Honestly, he was kind of indifferent to me in the previous books, but OMG!!! He ended up to be so swoonworthy!!! I liked his determination to be with Stella when he accepted that his feelings were more than he thought... As for Stella??? Well, as I told you already above, her behavior was kind of frustrating... Still... she was a very lucky girl cause Simon was like no other guy she had met before!!! These two were lovely and they gifted us with an adorable adventure!!!
"You were never part of the plan."
**I recieved an ARC for the exchange of an honest review**
I loved this story this was another winner in this series! I adored this couple I love the forbidden brothers best friend trope it’s one of my favorites the steam was delicious the emotions gave me all the feels I really enjoyed this one!
even though i didn’t like this book very much, thank you to cali melle for sending me a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review. i’m hoping i’ll enjoy the next book in this series more than i did this one!
nervous to put my review out there as it’s the first rating below 4 stars, but that’s ok because everyone is allowed to have different opinions !!
*sorry about the essay you’re about to read if you choose to*
i was really hoping to like this book a lot more than i actually did. i loved seeing stella and simon in splintered ice (the previous book in this series), so i was expecting to give this at least 4 stars but it just fell flat for me and frustrated me.
before i get into what i didn’t like about this book, i want to say that i did enjoy about the first 40% or so and there were some lines that i really liked (such as “you do what makes you happy and one day your soul will find the one that complements it).
this book felt too fast paced for my personal liking. i wanted more build up between stella and simon, and i think the book could have benefitted from being 50-100 pages longer (as it’s only around 200 pages) so that there could be more relationship development.
i thought i would have loved simon based on what i saw of him in splintered ice, and while there were some moments where he was really sweet, i just didn’t like him as much as i thought i would overall. same goes for stella. there was a scene where stella was blaming simon for “blurring her thoughts” about wanting be in a relationship when she was also part of wanting to have a summer fling with him, so it was also her fault.
it was very similar to splintered ice for me with the back and forth of them wanting to be together one chapter and then not wanting to the next chapter.
i also hot frustrated with the fact that every time they were around alcohol simon would say “oh i’m such an idiot for bringing you to this party where people are drinking”… i get that he’s trying to be protective of her, but she’s fine (as she said that to him multiple times). she’s not an alcoholic and she has shown that she can limit herself to just one drink and be completely fine.
near the end, stella told simon that she didn’t want to be together and it could never work between them and that she wanted space, but then she question why simon was giving her space and sleeping on the couch and not in the bed with her. like??? i’m sorry but i was confused with her thought process.
i also skimmed the last 25% because i didn’t really care how it ended and if they would actually end up staying together.

This series keeps getting better and better! I fall hard for all these hockey guys. A little bit more so with each one as the series goes on.
I adored Stella. She was strong and fierce despite being hurt by her ex boyfriend. Leaves Cali behind and heads back home to Vermont to regroup and find herself. She's been lost for a while and has been on a spiral.
Simon has one thing on his mind... hockey. He wants to get drafted and doesn't want anything to get in the way. He's always had a soft spot and immense chemistry with his teammates sister, Stella. He is through and through a good guy. Truly one of the good ones. Not a playboy at all. He's always tried to include Stella while she visits.. but this time things are much different. She's hurting, she is so sad and just not her usual self. He is determined to help her, no matter.
He offers her the chance to travel to Canada with him for a hockey clinic. She jumps at the chance, but is also a bit hesitant since she feels things brewing between them. For once, fear doesn't guide her and she trusts her heart.
Their story was so so good. Can't wait for the next one!
The author provided me with an ARC, in exchange for an honest review! Thank you Cali 🙏🏻

My heart is melting! I really loved the book!
Simon and Stella really have my heart!
It really warms my heart that Simon was in love with Stella for a long time and he didn't hesitate to make it known, even if he told her it was just a fling at the beginning! She was it for him and he'd do everything to make her his! Also i love that he supports her in a way her family didn't! Plus he's adorable how he loves Stella's character and how she takes not shit from anyone!
Stella is such an amazing girl, she's so tough even if she's breaking inside! She has walls up and doesn't let herself get hurt especially after her ex being a doucheback! She knew deep inside her that Simon was her happy ending!
The spice, the nicknames and the plot was *chef's kiss 🤌🏻*
I’ve been really big into my hockey era, and was able to receive this arc in exchange for an honest review
I actually really enjoyed this, this was so fun and such a quick read. Simon and Stella are everything, simon wanting the best for stella and being there for her no matter what and stella being on this journey of finding out what she really wants in a relationship. Both characters complimented one another well and it was so nice to watch the progression of their relationship.
Their love and support for one another, to them only wanting the best for each other to them discovering that they are fully in love is beautiful
Thank you Cali for providing me with an ARC of Coast to Coast!
I was really looking forward to this one after reading the previous books in the series. My favourite part of the book was the scene at the party where all of the previous couples came together, it was so nice to see them all again.
Personally I enjoyed the earlier books in the series more but this was still a quick and enjoyable read with an amazing level of spice! I feel like the ending was quite rushed and the relationship between Stella and Simon could have been developed more
I can’t wait to read Off Ice Collision and hear about Vaughns story!

ARC kindly provided for the author in exchange for an honest review
Without a doubt this is my favorite Wyncote Wolves book, I LOVED the love story that Cali Melle gave us with Simon & Stella, their interactions are one of the most tender, sweet and I really liked how their relationship was built throughout the book.
Ever since I read Stella in Splintered Ice I've been wanting to know more about her, but I didn't expect her story to make me suffer and break my heart like this, especially seeing more of her relationship with Sterling and his parents, although I would have liked Cali to delve more into that topic within the plot of this character. I also liked reading her on the journey of self-discovery that she begins, making changes in her life and finding out what she really wants from it, also, I think she's a very complex female character in terms of what how she feels about Simon, her fears and how vulnerable she can be.
Simon also stole my heart in the previous book and in this book I fell completely in love with him. I love that he is always there to support, understand and accompany Stella, that he's the most flirtatious, understanding and sweet person in the world, and that he also makes mistakes to show us that he's not the perfect guy.
What I liked the most about Stella & Simon was that she found in him someone to trust when she needed it most and that he accompanies her on such an important journey that begins at Coast to Coast, besides that together they made me love their relationship very much, and I have to say that the drama that Cali gave me in this book made me very happy.
I really adored everything about Simon. He was just such a *good* person to his core, wasn't a playboy, was such a good friend, and he was always in Stella's corner, even when it came to her brother, which happened to be his best friend. I LOVED that aspect so much. Simon was just all about helping Stella find herself, gave her the confidence to know that just because she deals with things differently than her brother, that doesn't make her a screw up or the black sheep of her family. He was just always cheering her on, and honestly, he's the best hockey dude we've seen so far.
As for Stella, she may have been a little lost, but she was still so likeable and relatable. She feels a connection to Simon from the start, and even though she was in a relationship and just put him in the friend zone, she still realized how special he was. And when her relationship breaks down, and she's going back home for the summer and spends more time around him, that feeling of him being special just increases each day. They had such a beautiful friendship, which translated into a beautiful relationship, even if they were both scared for different reasons to jump in at first. But I do love the fact that Simon fell first!
And the spice was done so freaking well! Just yes, is all I can say.🥵🥵🥵🥵
Now the reason this this wasn't a five star read for me was that at times it felt very surface level. Simon talked about being therapy for the demons and depression he faced when he was younger as a means to really connect with Stella, and then it was never brought up again. And then Stella wanted to come back and focus on getting her relationship with her mother back to where it used to be, but there was no scenes of the two of them together fixing their relationship. Plus her brother was just really judgy and rubbed me the wrong way, even though I did like him in the previous book.
I wish there were more emotions in those instances, but I did absolutely adore the final scenes of these two getting it right and just being each others person. And that epilogue was so sweet!
So even though there were some things I wished were touched on more, this is still a fabulous read!
**I received an an of this book and these are my honest opinions **
I can’t even explain how much I loved this book! I read it in one sitting because I literally couldn’t put it down! Cali is one of my favorite authors of all time and this series has had my heart since the very beginning. I feel like every book just gets better and better and it’s an AMAZING hockey romance series if you’re looking for a new hockey romance series to start!
I loved the plot and Simon and Stella individually and together but I do have to say that the spice in this was off. the. charts and it might be one of my favorite things about this book!!!!! 1000/10! 🔥🔥 I am also a bigggg fan of brother’s best friend trope so Cali basically combined everything I love into one book.
Another thing I loved about this book was the mental health representation and I enjoyed seeing Simon open up to Stella and connect with her in a way that nobody really has before. It was refreshing to see her grow/heal throughout the book and she reminded me of Brooke Davis from One Tree Hill in a few ways because she’s always been the life of the party but there’s so much hurting her on a deeper level.
I also was FREAKING OUT over the Olivia x Sterling moments in this book. I love interconnected standalones and seeing updates about the characters from past books. 😭
Read this if you love - hockey romance 🏒 - “good girl” praise 🤭 - brother’s best friend trope 👀 - lots of spiceeee 🔥
Thank you Cali Melle for providing me with an advanced copy of Coast to Coast! These are my honest thoughts on the book!
Stella Barrett escapes California for Vermont when she walks in on her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend. Little did she know, she would be moving in with her brothers best friend, Simon Murray, and that things would never be the same. She ends up going to Canada with him for his hockey camp, where they share a studio apartment with one bed…what happens? You’ll have read to find out! This was the perfect brothers best friend, forced proximity, one-bed, he falls first, college romance! I really enjoyed this one from beginning to end, my only complaint is that I want more! Their story was just so cute, and appreciated Simons willingness to allow Stella space and time to learn self-love and evolve as an individual.
Overall, another great story in the Wyncote Wolves series! Can’t wait for the next one!
I have to say, this series just keeps better and better! I absolutely love Simon! He's got to be my favorite in the Wyncote Wolves series!
Stella has chosen to take the summer to rediscover herself after catching her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend. She moves in with her brother, Sterling, after him and his girlfriend get a place of their own. Simon is one of her new roommates. They have known each other for a few years because he is Sterling's teammate/roommate/best friend.
Simon invites Stella to Canada with him to do whatever she wants while he attends a hockey camp. I love how attentive Simon is with Stella. How patient he is with her even when Stella acts stubborn. He is so sweet yet dirty. These two have this intense chemistry that is explosive and I was all for that! These two are beautiful characters who had struggles but used each other to work on them together to overcome them.
I read this in one sitting. This was such a beautiful story of working through insecurities, growth, and love. I can't wait until Vaughn's book!
I can’t get enough of Cali’s books! Simon and Stella had my heart melting.
Stella is determined to get her life on track. She begins a journey of self discovery in hopes of finding what she wants to do in life. She has such a fierce and passionate personality.
Simon is so lovable. I love how he knows that Stella is the one for him. He fully supports and respects her journey of self discovery. He makes sure she knows that she is valued and that it’s ok to not have the future planned out.
This book was such roller coaster of emotions. Fast paced, spicy, and so much fun to read!
Thank you Cali for sending me an ARC. I can’t wait to read the next book!
is a captivating novel that transports readers to a vibrant, imaginary world. The protagonist, embarks on a thrilling journey filled with unexpected twists and heartwarming moments. The author’s vivid descriptions and rich character development make the story come alive, keeping readers engaged from start to finish. Themes of friendship, courage, and self-discovery are beautifully woven throughout the narrative. The plot is well-paced, balancing action with emotional depth. This book is perfect for readers who enjoy a mix of fantasy and adventure, offering an escapist experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. A truly enchanting read.
Awww I absolutely love Simon, what a real sweetheart and I actually felt sorry for him in this book. He knew from the start it was Stella he wanted and boy did she put him through his paces. Unfortunately for Simon, Stella had a bad break up with her ex bf and it’s caused lasting damage. She went to Canada to find herself and didn’t expect to fall in love, it was just meant to be a summer fling. With simon working hard during Hockey camp, he has to make a tough choice and go find his angel. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next. Another great read by Cali.
Coast to Coast by Cali Melle is the seventh book in the Wyncote Wolves series, which is a hockey romance.
Stella and Simon’s story is a brothers best friend romance. I love that they have an easy friendship with each other that slowly develops through the story.
The demotion captured throughout was perfect and had me really connecting with these characters.
Coast to Coast is written from both Stella and Simon’s POV’s, as each chapter switches between the two characters.
I’m looking forward to continuing the Wyncote Wolves series with the eighth book Off-Ice Collision.
Forced proximity One bed Teammates younger sister Summer romance
Stella and Simon
Stella is on a rediscovery journey and letting things fall into place. So she agrees to travel with Simon to Canada for a month, whiles he’s at hockey camp.
LOVED Simon. He’s mature, focused and knows what he wants. I like that he isn’t like some athletes who like to play games and mess around. He has some swoon worthy lines in this book. While I would have liked to see more of the hockey camp, I did really enjoy reading about Simon!
This is a hockey adjacent romance, so not much hockey happening. I always like to make a point of saying if it’s a Hockey romance or a romance with a hockey player. This story Definitely focuses on the MCs. I do think these two might be my favorite couple of the Wyncote Wolves though.
These characters fit together really well, and complimented each other. I think it’s super attractive when the guy is like “hey, I know what I want and it’s you.. when you figure out you want me to.. I’m here”
Quick shoutout to Cali, I love how her books in the series are quick & easy reads, Cali Melle’s writing style is no nonsense, let’s get to the heart of it!
I just love this series so much and Stella and Simon were no exception. Brothers best friend is always a top trope for me.
Stella has her heart broken and goes home for the summer and Simon invites her on an adventure she can’t refuse. Their relationship is so great and feels so fun and natural. Simon is exactly what Stella needs at the perfect time.
This series has been amazing and I’ve loved everyone and their stories so much. Their easily going to fall into the comfort read category, but I think Stella and Simon have topped the list as the new series favorite.
i've read like three or four of this series' books, and i love everyone of them. Cali Melle express with simplivity and clearly the feelings that we all have had with the deepest love experience. I meal the way she express the sensations and thoughts of the characters... you know that is real... Highly recommended!
Girl gets cheated on, ongoing flirting with brothers roommate, lots of chemistry, spontaneous trip, fling with no strings turns serious… loved all of it! Simon was dreamy. I only wish we got more of his back story.
Oh my gosh, I loved Simon and Stella so much. I love their whole dynamic. He is her brother, his best friend. She is trying to get her life back in order. They are stuck together for the summer. It’s I just so perfect. It’s like the perfect layout for a romance, I love how they grew with each other and how Simon was there for Stella. I love these two together.
Although they are standalones this one picks up where splitted ice left. I LOVED Simon and this story so much. Logan will always be my favorite but I love the whole series
Gostei bastante do livro.
Thank you Cali for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
❝ “There are hockey rinks all over the world; there’s only one of you.” ❞
The Wyncote Wolves has become one of my favorite hockey series to indulge in. It's quick, with the lightest sprinkling of angst, and some steamy spice.
Simon is so fucking precious. I want to crawl inside his head and live there, it's so beautiful and supportive. He's so beautiful and supportive. Once he falls for Stella, he is all in, not even hockey could outshine her.
He also has a realistic view about his chances with the NHL and his overall future with hockey. My man has a backup plan list just in case. My Virgo Venus swooned. 🥺
Stella was a little frustrating at times with her constant back and forth, I understood her hesitancy after what she'd just gone through, but it happened so often that it was a mood killer.
Together they were sweet. I wish we'd gotten some more scenes with them building up their emotional connection. There were some super cute moments, their date, the conversation around drinking, but I wanted a little more of them.
However the spice was nice. Simon has quite the mouth on him. 😏
THAT LITTLE TEASE OF VAUGHN'S BOOK THOUGH? SO GOOD. I TRULY CANNOT WAIT.
ARC provided by the author! Thank you Cali, I’m always thrilled to read your books 💕
I loved Simon and Stella’s story!! It’s fresh, funny, spicy and cute. Basically all I needed to read right now.
Their relationship enchanted me from the first moment. I adore the way Simon communicates with her and how he always understands her even tho she can’t find herself to explain. Their connection is so special.
Stella frustrated me a little bit sometimes but I truly understood her and the fact that she was trying to heal and discover herself.
Simon has a place in my heart. He knew what he wanted and always stood by Stella no matter what. He made sure to let her know that she was loved and tried to show it as much as he could. He supported her like no one and it was such an amazing thing to read! I loved it.
Also: the spice is always on point with Cali and I literally live for it lol. It’s so so good, you’ll love it.
