Peter was Lilith's first love--and the first person to call her a monster. Despite their past, Lilith would save him if she could, but when Peter is infected with lycanthropy and becomes determined to challenge Marco for the position of lupinus regalis, wolf king, she faces a hard choice.
I write what I enjoy in the hopes that others will enjoy it as well. I've always been drawn to the macabre. Vampires, werewolves, you name it.
I've never written about the paranormal because it's popular. I do it because that's what I'm interested in. If the vampire fad ever passes, I'll still be sitting here in my Dracula cape, getting my fang on.
Lilith’s first love comes back. Ironically, after calling her a monster after she was attacked, he is now a werewolf, albeit a pretty foolish one. A multitude of changes await our merry band in this book and there is a new addition. I had expected to learn more about HAVOC in this one, but not too much yet.
Loved it. I'm running out of words to describe how good these books are. She is one of my new favorite authors. Lots of action and excitement going on in this one. As usual, the characters are amazing and the story keeps you on the edge of your seat.
I love this series, and Original Sin is book four in the Lilith Mercury Werewolf Hunter series. I've read them all from first onwards and each build upon the last so we're now at a place where there's a fairly large cast of characters though many only get mentioned, and the world building is pretty complete and I can easily understand what’s going on. I feel as if I'm there with Lilith sometimes and the places are so familiar that I can mentally picture them. I loved Alfred – til that awful betrayal, but always had a soft spot for the delicious, sexy, yummy Marco so its great to see him and Lilith together. He understands her in a way that others don't, and lets go things that might cause friction between them as he trusts her. This book centres around Peter, Lilith's first love, who broke it off after her attack and called her a monster. What’s he back for ? Seems he wants to challenge Marco for position of Werewolf King, which is a fight to the death. Lilith knows he can't beat Marco on a fair fight but has her doubts about whether Peter will fight fair....but isn't able to work out where the dirty tricks will come from. Then there's Dracula and his new theatre venture. All seems to be going well until Peter tricks Lilith into a meeting, saying he just wants to talk and Dracula pays the price. Seems Lilith is right – Peter is out to use any means possible.
Once again we meet Lilith's friends, and as well as the main plot there are multiple side issues going on that all keep the reader gripped with the book. Loved it! And want more please Tracey :) As usual there's some sensual, spicy sex scenes – Tracey is one of those authors who can write these without the cringe factor so many books contain. You know, the ones where you feel faintly nauseated rather than turned on.... Reading this book takes you into another world and the sex scenes are just a part of it, but written so well they fit the story perfectly. And lets face it any excuse to read more about the sexy Marco is good!
As with the others in the series its well written and edited, and priced competitively at £2.71. I don't have page length but estimated from the time it took to read its about 180-220 pages. Decent length anyway that allows the story to flow into side plots and cover multiple issues.
"Original Sin" received 2 stars from my star-checklist.
The novel gained *STARS* for these items:
* gained for: "The book caught my interest in first five pages."
* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story." (The double punctuation - ?! - is still annoying, but I'm not pulled completely out of the story anymore.)
The novel failed to gain stars for these items:
NO STAR gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society. (Halfway through I put the book down and didn't pick it back up for over two days - so not like me.)
NO STAR gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I want more!" (At some point, I'll probably read book five, but I'm taking a break for now. I started reading these novels because I heard it was a reverse haram series. I'm not convinced yet that it is. The heroine "loves" many guys, but they all want her for themselves. Especially Marco. He doesn't seem to be open to sharing her. Eh, that's not how I like my RH novels to be. When I'm reading the LMWH books, I get sucked in - the author is a great writer - but there are moments when I want to scream, "just pick someone or let all of them get into bed with you!". Because right now it seems as if she is just toying with all of their hearts.
NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author I will automatically buy anything s/he writes." (Not hooked yet...)

I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. It was sad in some parts of the book and may e a little sickening to skin a dead werewolf but it was a really good book overall. Lilth finally got to see what Marco could do and what she herself could do. I'm also starting to like mason and bade.
This novel was crazy good, better than all the rest. I was saddened by what happened to Peter. I cant believe that Lilith has so many men around her and I have to admit, I do in a lot of ways miss Alfred, even though he was such and idiot!
A half breed woman willing to risk it all for love. The king of werewolves is her loving king. A battle of wits and innocent people caught up in the mix. The seducer with a heart of gold always thinking the best of everyone.
