Taste Test: Office Relations

Rate this book
The guy you see every day at the office might just be the man of your dreams, right? Who knows until they try?

In Office Politics, by Kalita Kasar, times are tough for Kent and Lewis. Their construction business is taking a hit, and Lewis doesn't know how much more he can take. Thank goodness his partner Kent knows just what to do to make everything, even office politics, better.

In Lockdown, by Glyn Soitiño, Ian is going to be working late, thanks to his insensitive boss. He thinks his luck has taken a turn for the worse when sexy Jake has to stay late, too. He finds out just how good bad luck can be when his high tech building goes into lockdown, and Jake is the only other person around.

Finally, in Bonus, by Sean Michael, Jack thinks his new client, Mr. Leonid, is a picky bastard. He's also sexy, demanding, and very determined to get his money's worth from Jack. Will the two men find an arrangement that suits them both?

The stories collections can be very entertaining and there is good chance that you hit the good one with actual plot masked in the steamy action. The fetish for office men is hard to sooth in the majority of cowboys, firemen, soldiers etc. I was so happy when I came across this book. It is not the best, however I think everybody can pick story, which fits his/hers tastes.

1.In Office Politics - Kalita Kasar

Two lovers, who became business partners in small construction firm, which was struggling at the market. The situation was so dense that Kent and Lewis needed to release some steam and good sex in office always do the trick and when they learn that their concurrence bankruptcy, it is more reason for celebration aka sex.
Simple story about "no fucking in office" breaking rule.

2. In Lockdown - Glyn Soitiño,

Being in a office with somebody who is stool-pigeon as well as gorgeous man is hard, when one is gay. Ian had hellish job and boss who liked to bully him around. Jake came to rescue and even locking down building was meant to get Ian attention so he could clear his name and have Ian ass. Have him hard.

3. Finally, in Bonus - Sean Michael

The best one and with the old good theme of grumpy customer and one who wanted to have his contract done and well paid.

The story is the same with these taste tests, they are unsatisfactory. I am not sure what it is but at the end of each story I continue flipping looking for the next chapter. There is no closure to most of the stories.

These stories also didn't really develop the characters. I love me some gay romance but I feel unsated and a little used and abused (not in the good way) after these.
