From the inside flap:
Aphrodite - Goddess of Love traces the path of this legendary icon from ancient Greece to the present day with colorful paintings and drawings and an informative text by Manuela Dunn Mascetti.
Known best as the goddess of love and fertility, Aphrodite was also the goddess of creativity and fulfillment, process and transformation - her alchemical nature instilled in lovers the ability to develop, learn, grow, and change through the power of passionate union and sexual energy.
Today, Aphrodite's legacy endures, inspiring both men and women with her spirit of love, sensuality and beauty.

This is a lovely little book with plenty of full color paintings. It's part of a 3 book set by the same author (the others are devoted to Artemis and Athena). The books were sold individually, I believe, but also as a box set. A nice addition to any library on mythology or goddesses.
