The authors are really good at summarizing different philosophies and theories related to mediation and conflict resolution. However, on their central theory Insight Theory, it gets lengthy, repetitive but not detailed and deep enough.

The authors talk alot about insights and getting insights but do not elaborate on HOW to gain those insights and how to know if you have reached the deep insights and how to apply this in a case.

The authors mentioned two case studies but used the Insight Theory as an analysis tool rather than a guidance for how to solve a dispute.

This book is an easy read with a lot of insight (for lack of a better word). Talks about Lonnergan's theory of Insight and how to apply it mediations. It's so simple to understand but really hard to do..
